The royal family is staying connected amid the coronavirus pandemic.

On Friday, Prince William and Kate Middleton sat down with BBC Breakfast via video chat, where they revealed that the royal family has been staying in touch with one another virtually as they continue to practice social distancing.

“We have been talking to all of the family online,” the Duke of Cambridge said. “It has been a really great way of keeping in touch.” But William joked that it wasn’t an easy transition, adding, “As you can imagine, the younger generation are a little bit more tech-savvier—but only just. I think we’re getting there now, the family [is] getting a little bit more used to being able to contact each other and pressing the right buttons and not dropping the computer halfway through.”

Noting that Prince Charles and the Middleton family have been virtually popping in to see their grandchildren Prince George, 6, Princess Charlotte, 4, Prince Louis, 2, Kate chimed in, “It’s so true and actually, I think your father and my parents and our families have really loved keeping in touch with the children.”

During their interview, Kate hinted that Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their son Archie Harrison, who is weeks away from ringing in his 1st birthday in May, are included in the family video chats as well. As the mom of three discussed the challenges of social distancing away from the other members of the royal family, she shared that they have some birthday calls planned.

“It’s really hard times particularly over family times like Easter and things like that, and not seeing each other,” she explained. “So, we are making sure we share in on birthday calls and make sure we keep in touch with each other.”

Since announcing their unprecedented departure from the royal family and their recent move to Los Angeles, there has been speculation of tensions between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and William and Kate. “I’ve put my arm around my brother all our lives and I can’t do that any more; we’re separate entities,” William said of their reported rift back in January. “I’m sad about that. All we can do, and all I can do, is try and support them and hope that the time comes when we’re all singing from the same page. I want everyone to play on the team.”

In addition to getting used to virtually communicating with the royals, William and Kate have also been adjusting to homeschooling their little ones. As their conversation with BBC Breakfast continued, the pair opened up about the challenges of keeping George, Charlotte and Louis busy. 

“The children have got such stamina—I don’t know how, honestly,” Kate said as she and William laughed. “You get to the end of the day, you write down on the list of the things you’ve done in that day, you sort of pitch a tent, taking the tent down again, cook, bake, you get to the end of the day, they’ve had a lovely time. But, it’s amazing how much can cram into one day, that’s for sure.”

The couple recently recruited their children to help them pay tribute to the medical workers that have been fighting on the front lines of the pandemic. In a sweet video posted to the official Kensington Royal Twitter account, George, Charlotte and Louis can be seen giving an adorable round of applause for the healthcare heroes.

Mark Wahlberg‘s daughter is a TikTok star in the making.

On Thursday, his youngest daughter Grace, 10, created a Tiger King­-inspired video and really channeled her inner Joe Exotic.

Donning a plaid shirt, a fake mustache and an oversized baseball cap, the youngin lip-synced along to a remixed version of Megan Thee Stallion‘s “Savage,” which featured the infamous zoo owner’s accusatory statements about Carole Baskin from the hit Netflix docu-series in place of the rapper’s lyrics. She even recruited her mom Rhea Durham, who sported a matching flannel and cap. Following her daughter’s lead, Grace and Rhea danced as the viral track played, creating the duo’s best TikTok video to date.

Amused and only slightly concerned, Mark shared the clip to his Instagram with the caption, “Could somebody please tell me what this is? I went downstairs to get a snack.” After posting their TikTok masterpiece, the actor’s family and pals applauded their work in the comments section.

His nephew Jeff Wahlberg wrote, “She’s gonna be so mortified by this in 5 years and personally, i can’t wait.” Mark’s other nephew Brandon Wahlberg chimed in, commenting, “Better facial hair then her cousin.” Praising their work, Andie MacDowell said, “Winner.” Mario Lopez also left the little TikTok star a message: “Hahaha Gracie killin it!”

As Mark and his family continue to practice social distancing, the Daddy’s Home star has been finding new ways to keep his children entertained. Back in March, Grace gave her famous dad a makeover—and it’s safe to say that it didn’t go as planned. But thankfully, it was all captured on video and shared on Instagram.

Kicking things off with an at-home manicure, she decided to paint Mark’s hands two different colors and was having difficulty keeping the polish neat. “[You’re] painting my hand,” he said as he jokingly scolded the 10-year-old in the video. “Okay, so, 15 days into quarantine now. I’m getting pedicures and manicures—and apparently a full makeup. She’s got her whole kit there. Um, yeah, this is what’s happening now…”

“I don’t know if you’re gonna have a career in this,” he told Grace, to which she replied, “I’m only good at makeup. So, your makeup is gonna be on fleek. Your brows are gonna be on fleek.” 

Once both nails were painted, Mark examined his hands and said, “This is a hack job. Are you good at this? Have you ever done this before? Oh, my God!”

Shawn Booth is mourning the loss of his pet and “best friend,” Tucker.

For the past 11-years, the golden retriever stood by the former Bachelorette contestant’s side as he went through many stages in life, including his rise to stardom, an engagement to Kaitlyn Bristowe and their eventual split. 

But now, Shawn is continuing life without his “best friend,” as Tucker unfortunately passed away this week. On Instagram, the 32-year-old shared, “With the heaviest heart I’ve ever had, I wanted to let you guys know that I lost my best friend today. Tucker passed peacefully in my arms and in the comfort of our backyard.”

“I poured every ounce of my heart into him and he gave me his entire heart right back. I’ve never loved anything more and he was the best boy I could ever ask for. I was the luckiest person in the world to have him by my side for 11+ years,” he continued. “I already miss him so much.”

If that wasn’t heartbreaking enough, he shared this quote as a reminder of how much he adored the pup: “If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever ..”

His ex, Kaitlyn, commented, “I’m so sorry. This one hurts. You gave him a great life.” She and Shawn were engaged for over three years and lived together for a majority of the time, giving her the opportunity to know and love the sweetheart that Tucker was.

Even after the personal trainer and influencer broke up, she continued to post tributes to Tucker on her Instagram, including one on his 11th birthday. And the podcast host previously revealed that she used to think “he was almost the glue to our relationship,” and was one thing that made it so hard to end her engagement to Shawn. 

Kaitlyn wasn’t the only one to have an attachment to Tucker, or as many affectionately called him, Doodle. Jared Haibon, Becca Tilley  and other Bachelor Nation fans expressed their condolences on Instagram. Tilley wrote, “I’m so sorry—my heart is broken for you! We all fell in love with Tucker from your posts!” 

Mother knows best—or does she? 

On tonight’s all-new Total Bellas, Nikki Bella and Brie Bella found themselves at odds with their mom, Kathy Colace, over their decision to reunite with their estranged father. Though the sisters were ready to embark on a new chapter by visiting dad Jon Garcia, his wife and their two half-siblings in Mexicali, Kathy wasn’t eager to hear about the experience.

However, talk of the reunion was hard to avoid, as Kathy had accompanied Nikki and Brie on their trip since they also wanted to stop to see their grandmother, Kathy’s mom, who lived near Jon in Brawley, California.

“I thought I had closure,” Kathy explained in a confessional, which was intercut with her and the twins (along with Nikki’s boyfriend, Artem Chigvintsev) exploring the town they grew up in. “And I don’t.”

The following day, Brie, Nikki and Artem traveled to Mexicali while Kathy stayed behind at her mom’s with Brie’s daughter, Birdie Danielson, since her husband Daniel Bryan was busy with WWE-related work. Over lunch, Jon tried to stress how much he’s changed for the better.

“It’s all gonna come together. All the negativity—I’ve come a long way to fall back down to that. And I’m not gonna go to the past,” he explained. “If you wanna talk about it just to bring it up for a bad vibe, I don’t want to hear it. Because that ain’t me no more.”

The comment seemed to indicate he wouldn’t be happy with Brie and Nikki’s planned autobiography chronicling their childhood struggles, and that turns out to be the case when Brie makes the reveal. 

In an effort to salvage the rest of the day, the topic is quickly dropped, and the twins happily met up with their young half-siblings Alexia and Ezequiel—the latter of whom it was their first time meeting.

“It’s wild. It’s just, at my age, you don’t think you’re gonna be introduced to something like this,” Brie said in a confessional. “So it’s taking me a second to just be like, ‘Wow, I have family here.'”

Shortly before the group is set to return to Brawley, Jon pulls Nikki and Brie aside with a special request. 

“Alexia is very proud of both of you, and unfortunately, a lot of the kids at her school, do not believe that you’re her sister,” he said, adding that she’s often bullied as a result. “And for her, a dream come true would be that if you both visit your school tomorrow.”

Nikki and Artem decided to stay the night in order to visit Alexia’s school the next day, but Brie wanted to head back to be with Birdie. Upon delivering the update to Kathy, it became clear that the tension between the twins and their mom was starting to grow.

“I’m just gonna be extremely direct,” Kathy said on FaceTime. “I didn’t come on the trip to be a babysitter for you guys to go find your roots.”

So when Nikki and Artem returned to Brawley after staying the night and stopping by Alexia’s school—where Nikki said she wanted to make sure the whole school knew that she would “body slam” anyone who messed with Alexia—things quickly took a turn for the worse.

“Let’s get all the talk out about Mexico and Mexicali so I don’t have to hear it for, like, four hours,” Kathy told her daughters.

Brie wasn’t happy with her tone, and said, “Once again, it’s us having to walk on eggshells, not able to express how much fun we had with dad. I almost feel like you want us to come back and have a negative experience.”

Kathy asked the two to put themselves in her shoes, prompting Nikki to chime in.

“Don’t you want us to embrace who we are and what we’re made of?” Nikki expressed. “You and dad, it sucks ’cause you had such an unfortunate relationship, but no matter what, that’s still our dad.”

She continued, “You left us in that environment until we were 15 years old. It’s not like you left our father when we were two or three and it was, like, this guy that was maybe in our lives. That already did so many deep cuts with us that Brie and I are trying to figure it out. And as we want to become more whole and just have these happy lives and not hold onto pain, we have to go through these things.”

Brie backed her sister up by insisting Jon has not only changed for the better, but “owns up to his past,” too.

Kathy fired back: “Just because in the last, I don’t know, three, four weeks, you guys have decided to have this relationship, how about sitting there and going, ‘You know what, mom? Every time we were disappointed, you were there for us. And every time we went back and tried to rebuild a relationship, you were there for us.’ What I hear is, ‘You were always this bitch that didn’t want us to be around dad.’ That’s not the case. Sometimes you need to give people credit for what they did do for a long time.”

The argument continued, and when everyone returned to Arizona, Kathy called for a “family meeting” that also included the twins’ brother, JJ Garcia. 

Brie prefaced what she felt she needed to share with an acknowledgment of Kathy being both “a supermom,” and “role model.”

“But I think sometimes, with you, we get scared because we feel like we always need to try to be so positive because we want you to always feel like you’re great because you are a great mom,” Brie explained. “But sometimes it’s hard because there was negative things we had to deal with.”

Nikki weighed in too, and revealed that her childhood has caused her “not to have trust in men.”

“All I’ve ever thought of is that it would be so amazing to walk down that aisle, but then when I get close, it’s like I can’t even breathe,” Nikki said. “Because am I going to be stuck in something I that I don’t want to be in? And I think I just carry that because that’s how you were for so long: stuck.”

Unlike their previous conversation, this one does end up having a happy ending. Kathy not only apologized, but read a letter that expressed everything she’s always wanted to tell her children. 

“I’m sorry for the things you saw and experienced as children. I wish I would’ve made it better for you all, and I don’t mean perfect, because perfect doesn’t exist,” the letter read in part. “I wish the good times outweighed the bad, but I accept responsibility. Who I am today would’ve gotten the three of you you out sooner than I did.”

Awww. Talk about heartwarming!

Blurring the boundaries?

On tonight’s all-new Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian faced some awkward moments with ex Tristan Thompson as they continued to co-parent their daughter True Thompson. For starters, during one FaceTime conversation, the Cleveland Cavaliers player implied that he wanted to have another child with the Good American mogul.

This suggestion came about as the twosome sorted through True’s toys in order to donate the ones she had grown out of.

“If it just so happens, we have another girl, what’s gonna happen? We’ll have to buy it all over again,” Tristan remarked after Khloe suggested donating one toy.

“Who’s having another girl with you,” Khloe said in response.

Although the NBA star remained coy, he double downed and said his daughter “does need a sibling.” Rather than ignore this comment, the mother of one remarked about her plan to freeze her eggs.

“Right, so I might get some embryos and get a sibling,” the Revenge Body host responded. “I might need to borrow some sperm or get some from you, but we’ll figure that out later.”

While Khloe has maintained that she wants to keep a friendly relationship with True’s dad, Tristan seemed somewhat flirtatious in this episode. Not only did he gift Khloe a Dior handbag, but he also surprised them with a visit when he was supposed to be in Ohio.

“He really misses True and he doesn’t really know when he’s going to see her next, ’cause I haven’t given a definitive date as to when True is going to go visit Tristan in Cleveland,” Khloe lamented in a confessional. “I’ve never sent True anywhere before, so that part is scary and overwhelming for me.”

Despite her hesitation, Khloe decided to bring True to Cleveland so that the youngster could spend some time with Tristan. Understandably, their arrival in the Buckeye State was bittersweet for Khloe.

“We haven’t been in Cleveland in months, so it’s kind of bittersweet,” Khloe shared. “I feel really good that I get to make sure all the baby gates are up and baby proof that her crib is at the right adjustment.”

Of course, Khloe just wanted to make sure that True would be comfortable at Tristan’s home, especially since she had grown so much. While organizing True’s things, Khloe and Tristan walked through their daughter’s routine.

Even though Khloe was impressed by Tristan, who was asking “all the right questions,” she tensed after he jokingly suggested that True stay indefinitely in Cleveland.

“I guess you just don’t have to leave,” Tristan remarked. “KoKo Takes Cleveland.”

“When we were together, that would’ve been a great solution,” Khloe responded. “But, you were anti a lot of things then.”

In response, Tristan reminded his ex that it’s “all about growth and development.” Regardless, Khloe still headed back to Los Angeles so that True and Tristan could have “daddy-daughter time.”

“We got through the first trip. Of course, True is going to see Tristan. I will never get in between that,” she concluded. “I’m not very comfortable sending her weekly, I have to see his schedule, I gotta see True’s schedule. I’ll make it work.”
