Open and honest conversations can lead to teachable moments.

Earlier this week, tweets from Trina McGee resurfaced online that detailed hostile work environments on set.

In one post, the actress who played Topanga’s best friend and Shawn’s love interest named Angela, said she was called “Aunt Jemima” by one of her cast mates.

“Called aunt Jemima on set during hair and make up. Called a bitter bitch when I quietly waited for my scene to finish rehearsing that was being f’ed up over and over due to episode featuring my character,” she wrote. “Told ‘it was nice of you to join us’ like a stranger after 60 episodes.” 

Fast-forward to Thursday afternoon when Trina revealed Will Friedle was the man responsible for the controversial joke.

“He apologized to me 22 years ago and again days ago in a in a three-page letter. We talked more on it and he acknowledged that he really wasn’t educated enough in his early twenties to know he was truly offending me. THIS SHOULD AND COULD BE A TEACHING MOMENT FOR ALL. For all people of all races or different backgrounds,” she wrote with a throwback photo from the set. “He has conveyed to me how much this has changed his perception of comedy. And humanity.”

Trina continued, “Will apologized to me and I forgave him, I then apologized to him for making the statements public because his joke came out of just not knowing, not viciousness and he forgave me. That’s what friends do. Now get back to washing your hands and surviving this pandemic and let love and hope be the next pandemic. #loseonefriendloseallfriendsloseyourself #trinamcgee.”

Fans later noted that Will, who played Eric Matthews on the ABC series, commented on the post shortly after it went up. 

“I love you, Trin,” he wrote.

Boy Meets World is a sitcom that aired for seven seasons between 1993 to 2000. The show chronicled the everyday events and life-lessons of Cory Matthews played by Ben Savage.

The series spawned a spinoff on the Disney Channel titled Girl Meets World that also featured Ben parenting Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard).

First it was Jason Bateman and now it’s Chris Hemsworth whose kids are stealing the spotlight.

The coronavirus pandemic may have everyone staying indoors, but the world of Hollywood is still doing their best to keep the masses entertained. This means talk shows that normally air live from the studio in the morning, daytime and evening are now operating from staffs’ homes. It offers a change of scenery and while there is no live studio audience, it’s not unusual to see a random family member stroll through the background on occasion.

Fans saw this firsthand when the Arrested Development star talked to Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday. As the two men discussed all things Ozark, life and more, Bateman’s daughter Maple walked out into the backyard casual as can be and waved at the cameras. 

And the same exact thing happened to the Thor star on Weds. when he was speaking to Luke Darcy on the Triple M radio show. His 6-year-old son Tristan mischievously snuck in to sit on his dad’s lap as they discussed the upcoming Netflix film Extraction. 

Of course, the interviewer was delighted by the moment and Chris laughed, “He’s looking at me right. At the moment I’m trying to give him a little,” before making a shush gesture. 

The shenanigans didn’t end there! Chris had to pause the interview because Tristan was “throwing pillows” at the computer, though he handled the candid moment with the utmost patience.

Fashion’s biggest night…in?

That’s right. The 2020 Met Gala may have been postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic, but E! isn’t about to let the first Monday of May pass by without celebrating the fashion event of the year.

With E!’s The Met Gala: Ultimate Fashion Moments special, those at home—AKA everybody, including the A-listers who’d usually be walking the famed red carpet outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art—can get their fashion fix without even leaving the couch. 

The hour-long special set for Monday, May 4 at 11 p.m. is jam-packed with content from the Met Galas of the past, which obviously includes the celebrities who’ve become known as regulars like Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Michelle Williams, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen.

With the help of E! style correspondent Zanna Roberts Rassi and celebrity stylist Brad Goreski, E! will be counting down the top 10 best arrivals of all time on air and on Twitter. Think Blake Lively in 2018 with the “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination” theme, or Madonna in 2016 with “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.”

There’s a ton of never-before-seen footage, too—including new interviews with all of your favorite stars!

Of course, the Met Gala men will have their moment, too. Who can forget Billy Porter and his golden wings?

They’ll also be featured throughout our look back at some of the hottest couples to attend the Met Gala over the years: Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, who have been in sync from 2017 to 2019; George and Amal Clooney, who were the most-talked-about couple in 2015 and 2018; and Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, who made their first and last appearance as a couple in 2019, among others.

So come for the fashion, but stay for things like fun facts, a reveal of the stars who have dared to break the strict rules and so much more.

Broadway and TV star Nick Cordero will not stop fighting.

More than a week after the Tony-nominated actor was admitted to an ICU after experiencing pneumonia-like symptoms, his wife Amanda Kloots offered a health update to fans and followers.

In an Instagram Live posted on Thursday night, Amanda revealed her husband is off the ECMO machine and his recent surgery “went well.” At the same time, he still has to keep fighting after testing positive for Coronavirus.

“The doctor said for Nick’s heart and lungs right now, they’re in the best condition that they could be. He’s still on medication to help his heart pump. He’s still on the ventilator, obviously, to breathe, but he said this needed to happen for anything else to happen so the fact that he’s off is great,” she shared. “The next hours coming up are very important because obviously the heart and lungs are running on their own now for the first time in a couple of days.” 

Amanda also revealed to loyal fans and followers that Nick’s right leg “is still an issue.” Doctors, however, are doing all they can to get him well.

“There has been some blood flow issues coming down to his foot,” she explained. “The doctor went in there, fixed as much as they possibly could to get blood flow down to his toes again. We don’t know what the damage will be. We don’t know if he’ll be able to walk again. We don’t know if he can walk again, what that will look like.” 

Amanda continued, “I think there will definitely be a lot of rehab and definitely a lot of physio in order for that leg to get working again. But the good news is that blood is finally running down to his toes. It has been a very emotional day, a very tiring day. I so appreciate everyone who reaches out to me, I really do.”  

Since Nick’s health struggles first began, Amanda has filmed a home video for her husband everyday. She’s also encouraged fans to post supportive dance videos under #WakeUpNick.

The fitness instructor has also shared footage of Nick’s cast members coming together in prayer to prove just how close the Broadway community is.

Many fans will recognize Nick from his roles in Broadway musicals such as Bullets Over Broadway, Rock of Ages, Waitress and A Bronx Tale. In recent years, he also appeared on the small screen with roles in Blue Bloods and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Does Nikki Bella have favorites?

In this clip from Thursday’s all-new Total Bellas, Brie Bella informs her sister that she’s at the heart of some new family drama. Apparently, their brother JJ Garcia and his wife Lauren believe Nikki favors Birdie Joe Danielson over their own daughters.

“Oh hey, you know what I wanted to tell you?” Daniel Bryan‘s wife spills to her sister at a Downton Abbey themed party. “So, JJ and Lauren were saying that you favor Birdie more, that you love Birdie more.”

This is a bold move on Brie’s part as JJ and Lauren are within earshot of this conversation. Not to mention, Nikki isn’t pleased to hear this update.

“It’s so stupid. I’ll let the haters be for now,” Nikki responds. “I can’t believe I even have to deal with it.”

Unsurprisingly, Brie encourages Nikki to enjoy her evening, but to address the issue with their brother and sister-in-law soon. Yet, Nikki has another plan in mind.

“I almost want to say something in front of everyone like, ‘Oh my god! Did you guys see how cute Birdie was today?'” the former Dancing With the Stars competitor quips.

“Don’t add more fuel to the fire,” her sister warns.

In a confessional, Nikki reveals that it’s “really difficult” for her to hear this family gossip.

“I feel like there’s more to it,” Artem Chigvintsev‘s lady speculates. “I feel like JJ has something that holds him back. It’s almost like he has this chip on his shoulder towards Brie and I. And I feel like it’s not just about these little girls, I mean, it can’t be.”
