Celebrities and Designers Making Face Masks You Can Buy Online

Magic happens when fashion is made for a good cause!

Celebrities and designers are helping those in need during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. With everything going on in the world, many Hollywood stars and fashion powerhouses have started making face masks.

Many have created masks that feature a charitable aspect, too.

For example, Karolina Kurkova teamed up with the brand Billie Blooms to help those in need.

“I have teamed up with @billieblooms to create the #MaskForAll project to produce and donate sustainable cloth masks,” the model shared on Instagram. “We have adopted the 1-for-1 model and for every mask purchased, one will be donated through @feedingamerica s food banks in Miami and New York—two places I’m proud to call home.”

Moreover, designer Michael Costello has been making masks since March and donating them to essential workers and various organizations in Los Angeles. He’s given his masks to the LAPD, USPS workers, Children’s Hospital L.A. and many other locations.

Chris Cuomo ''Finally'' Leaves His Basement and Reunites With His Family After Coronavirus Quarantine

Chris Cuomo is a free man.

Following weeks spent quarantined in his basement while fighting COVID-19, the journalist has reunited with his family. Cuomo, who continued broadcasting his nightly CNN show despite the illness, documented the moment in a must-see video shared to his Instagram on Monday.

“The official reentry from the basement,” Cuomo said as he walked up the stairs into their living room, noting that he’d been “cleared” by the CDC. “This is what I’ve been dreaming of. Literally for weeks.”

The 49-year-old revealed his wife, Cristina Cuomo, had also been given the green light to come out of isolation after she too tested positive for coronavirus. “My wife was cleared by the CDC. She doesn’t have a fever, she doesn’t have the symptoms anymore and [it’s been] more than seven days in her quarantine,” he explained.

“We’re still a little scared so I’ll just give you one of these,” Cuomo remarked, giving Cristina and his three kids, Bella, Mario and Carolina, the shaka sign.

“This is the dream,” he continued, “just to be back up here doing normal things.”

The proud dad then expressed gratitude to his children for stepping up as their parents recovered.

“Thank you for being so nice to me. Thank you for taking care of everything you had to. Thank you for taking care of me. Bella, thank you for stepping up and now adding family videographer to your resume. She’s rolling her eyes,” he added.

Cuomo also shared a new photo alongside daughter Carolina, captioning it, “First smile in a long while.”

Throughout his own health crisis, Cuomo had the support from his brother, New York governor Andrew Cuomo. On Wednesday, April 15, the state leader appeared on Cuomo Primetime to discuss Cristina’s diagnosis, where he told Chris, “You’re going to be getting better soon, because you have to be getting to the tail end of this thing. So you’ll be up and you’ll be strong. When all is said and done, I don’t think this is a bad experience for [your kids] to go through. You want to talk about growing up a little bit and seeing reality a little bit? Bella will step up so it’s all going to be fine. I know it makes a bad situation worse, but it’s all going to be fine.”

Where Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart Stand After He Denies Kaia Gerber Rumors

Bottom line: Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart are still very much “together,” an E! News source shared.

The Riverdale star took to his Instagram Story overnight to address the rumors involving his relationship status with Kaia Gerber. In recent weeks, claims have been made on social media about his possible involvement with the 18-year-old model and since the 27-year-old actor has been in an on and off again relationship with his Riverdale co-star, the speculations haven’t dwindled.

But Sprouse wants to set the record straight. “I tolerate a lot of rumors and slander from people online claiming to be my fans. Fans who feel entitled to my privacy precisely because I never indulge them,” the actor wrote on social media. “But attacking my friends, baseless accusations, leaking my address and sending death threats are all qualities of insanity and fanaticism. Choose humanity, stop being [clown emoji].”

Now, according to an E! News source, “Lili and Cole are still together. They haven’t been [in quarantine] together but haven’t split.”

The source added, “Their relationship is always up and down but they do talk every day and care very much about one another. Lili and Cole have been trying to be more low-key.”

“The photos of Kaia at Cole’s house are old,” the source shared with E! News. “Cole and Kaia are just friends and have never been romantic.”

Sprouse continued on Instagram, “When I first stepped into a public relationship this was one of the foreseeable consequences. And while I truly never intended to indulge any part of my private life to the ravenous horde, it’s clear my restraint in updating them has allowed them to push their own agenda onto my habits and lifestyle.”

“So in conclusion- please eat my delectable plump a–,” Sprouse wrote. “(Making me post a goddamn white font insta story like a divorced mother of three).”

Sprouse and Reinhart first sparked romance rumors back in 2017 after they were spotting together at Comic-Con.  Last summer, the pair seemed to have called it quits after two years of dating but reunited months later.

Jennifer Lopez Sued for $150,000 Over an Instagram Photo

Jennifer Lopez is being sued over the use of a photo on Instagram.

According to court documents obtained by E! News, New York photographer Steve Sands is accusing the singer and her production company Nuyorican Productions for copyright infringement and seeks an excess of $150,000 in damages.

The federal lawsuit cites that Lopez used the photograph taken of her by Sands to “promote their brand” on Instagram—where the singer has over 119 million followers—without receiving permission to post or any compensation.

The photo of Lopez, taken by the New York photographer, received over 656,000 likes. It was posted on June 22, 2017.

“Defendants did not license the Photograph from Plaintiff for its Website, nor did Defendants have Plaintiff’s permission or consent to publish the Photograph on its Website,” the lawsuit cites. According to the court documents, the photographer is “entitled to statutory damages up to $150,000 per work infringed.”

The lawsuit was filed in Manhattan federal court by lawyer Richard Liebowitz. He tells E! News, “This is an example of celebrities using photographers photographs without permission to brand themselves on social media. The number of likes the photograph receives coupled with their number of social media followers is a tool to commercialize their posts.”

Back in Oct. 2019, the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer was also sued for $150,000 over a picture she posted of Alex Rodriguez to her Instagram Story in 2017.

According to the court documents, filed by Splash News and Picture Agency and obtained by E! News, the picture in question showed the Hustlers star holding hands with Rodriguez while out in New York City. In the docs, Splash News and Picture Agency states that they are the owner and exclusive copyright holder of the picture Lopez posted.

Earlier this year, Lopez and her production were once again sued for $40 million dollars by the woman who inspired the actress’ character Ramona in Hustlers, Samantha Barbash.

In court documents obtained by The Blast, Barbash “claims the film producers approached her before production to “obtain a consent waiver form Ms. Barbash for the production of the film and their ultimate portrayal” of her. She refused to sign off on the consent or waive her privacy rights.”

E! News has reached out to Lopez’s attorney for comment.

Leslie Jordan Talks Instagram Fame and His Viral Quarantine Videos on In the Room!

Leslie Jordan continues to be the Instagram star the world needs right now.

The 64-year-old has always been known as a beloved actor with standout roles in shows like Will and Grace and American Horror Story, but he’s recently risen to fame on the social media platform for his daily broadcasts. These often-viral videos include everything from showbiz stories to singing and dancing, though they all aim to lift the spirits of anyone who’s feeling down as the coronavirus outbreak continues.

Leslie checked in with E!’s Jason Kennedy on an Instagram Live for In The Room on Monday, where he explained that until recently, he didn’t even know what the words “viral” and “monetize” meant. In fact, when one of Leslie’s videos took off, he described a friend calling him to say, “You’re viral!” only for him to respond, “No, honey, I’m fine. I’m here at mamma’s…I don’t have that virus.”

And even though monetizing content is the name of the game on Instagram—especially for those with millions of followers, which Leslie has recently garnered—he said he has no plans to do so long as people are to practice social distancing.

“I mean, I’ve been approached!” Leslie explained. “I said, ‘Listen, I just do this for fun, for free. And I got a big job lined up, you know, Call Me Kat. I got a big, big, big television series coming on Fox. I don’t need, you know…I’m gonna be rich as s–t.”

He continued, “Until the hunker down is over…I’m going to do it for fun and free. After that, woo! All bets are off! I’ll be the biggest whore in Hollywood.”

Until then, Leslie said he doesn’t want to get in the habit of planning content. He does, however, intend to maintain his position as “the founder and the guiding light of the Dylan McDermott fan club for middle-aged gay men.”

“And I’m, right now, the only member,” Leslie told Jason. “But interest has been expressed. And I’ve been asked to open it up beyond gay people and I’m considering that. I’ll bring that up at the next board meeting…which is me. I’m the only one on the board.”

Otherwise, Leslie doesn’t feel any pressure to churn out content (or use props, as one of his followers once suggested). And while he tends to avoid the comments section on his posts, he does enjoy other sorts of feedback. The “best” commentary, he told Jordan, comes in the form of random texts and calls from all sorts of people.

“I mean, you know, because I was for years in the rooms of recovery—which I’m very open about, I’ve been completely clean and sober for 22 years—I’ve given my phone number to every drunk in Hollywood,” Leslie explained. “There’s not an old drug addict in Hollywood that doesn’t have my phone number. Because that’s a part of my recovery! Helping people.”

And it seems as though that’s what he’s continuing to do, one video at a time!
