But on Sunday, July 14, Markle attended The Lion King premiere in London with her husband Prince Harry on her arm, marking her first red carpet appearance with him and as a royal. An iconic moment to be sure—made even more so by a subsequent hug with Beyoncé—but what really caught our eye? The chic LBD she was wearing.
The elegant tea-length gown by Jason Wu Collection was minimalist and chic, featuring mesh paneling and sleeves with a black bodice and skirt. Markle wore the $2,450 dress, which is quickly selling out, with Aquazzura heels, a $2,300 satin Gucci clutch featuring a delicate butterfly clasp, and a sleek low bun.
