These Frida Kahlo-Inspired Vans Shoes Are Actual Works of Art


Frida Kahlo, an artist and political activist known for beautifully painted self-portraits and images of Mexican landscapes, has endlessly inspired the world of fashion, entertainment, and art with her creations. Her work is revered by fans around the world—and Vans is celebrating it with a new collection of sneakers, celebrating her artistry and influence.

On June 29, Vans will release its Vans x Frida Kahlo collection, which gives three of the brand’s hallmark sneaker styles a makeover featuring some of her most famous paintings.
