Floyd Mayweather‘s daughter Iyanna Mayweather was arrested in Houston, Texas on Saturday for aggravated assault, E! News has confirmed. 

The Harris County Constable’s Office tells E! News that Iyanna was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, which is also considered a second-degree felony. 

While the Harris County Constable’s Office is not yet confirming the identity of the victim or witness, they tell E! News that “the victim, a 25-year-old black female, sustained non-life threatening injuries, mostly to the arm and is in stable condition.”

The incident took place at 6:52 p.m. and the scene was cleared just before 10 p.m.

Citing that one knife was recovered from the scene, officials also added that the “incident began as a verbal altercation between two women which escalated into a physical altercation.”

They added, “There was a male witness who was briefly detained without incident and once it was determined that he was strictly a witness, he was released.” 

Iyanna was taken to Harris County jail at the time of her arrest and was later released on bail.  

While NBA YoungBoy has yet to address the incident, the rapper took to Twitter to write, “Hold it down for your love one’s up in heaven and they will do the same I’m very blessed and protected if you ask me.” 

The former professional boxer has not commented on his daughter’s arrest. The 43-year-old shares Iyanna with Melissa Brim. 

Happy anniversary, Beyoncé and Jay-Z!

The music power couple is celebrating 12 years since they tied the knot in a secret, intimate wedding ceremony at the rapper and producer’s penthouse home in New York City in 2008.

Bey’s mom Tina Knowlesdesigned her daughter’s wedding dress, a white strapless mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline. On Saturday, she paid tribute to the couple and shared a photo of Beyoncé cheering as she and Jay-Z walk back up the aisle grinning after exchanging vows. Tina had shared the same pic on the pair’s ninth anniversary.

“Happy anniversary to Bey and Jay❤️❤️❤️” she wrote in her new post. “it seemed like yesterday these guys walked down the Aisle. Those are my arms in the fluffing her dress!!! Such beautiful memories of that day now it’s twelve years later ! Three gorgeous babies later and love still prevails ❤️[praying emoji] ❤️❤️ ahem i designed that dress…pastor @rudyrasmus.”

Tina has occasionally shared pics from the wedding over the years. Beyoncé and Jay-Z have posted images as well, namely at shows during their 2014 On the Run tour. The singer included two seconds of footage of her in her dress in her 2011 music video “I Was Here.” More wedding shots were also featured in her 2016 music video for the Lemonade song “All Night.”

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are parents to 8-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter, and 2-year-old twins Sir Carter and Rumi Carter.

This is where the Saturday Night Live star and UCP comes in to the picture. They are beginning work on creating a miniseries that details the ongoing fight between Joe, Carole and other members of the big cat community. 

So far, their project is in the early days of production, but there’s a ton of excitement surrounding the casting process and how the writers will be able to include all the events that transpired between the different parties. On social media, some stars are even actively volunteering for the role of Joe Exotic, that’s how much hype there is about the show.

Miley Cyrus will always be Miley; The singer says she has not really changed over the past decade…and still can’t be tamed.

While practicing physical distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic, the 27-year-old video chatted with Jimmy Fallon and answered some Twitter questions from fans. One asked what is her favorite “old song.”

“I was heading to Australia when the kind of seriousness of COVID-19, they started kind of, you know, shutting off international travel and telling us it wasn’t safe to fly, but I was on my way to Australia and I was about to do a show for bushfire relief, and I don’t have new music out, so I really, like, dug into the archive,” Cyrus said in the video, posted on YouTube on Friday. “I went back into the old stuff, and I started thinking, like, ‘7 Things’ and ‘See You Again’ and ‘Who Owns My Heart’ and ‘Can’t Be Tamed.’ And then I realized that, like, I think the idea that I’ve changed, it’s really far off. I actually haven’t changed at all.”

“I was totally warning people. You know, my first song, ‘Can’t Be Tamed,’ is like, ‘I wanna fly / I wanna drive / I wanna go.’ You know? And I think that I still really relate to songs like that. It said, ‘I wanna be a part of something that I don’t know / and if you try to hold me back, I’m bound to explode / By now, you should know / that I can’t be tamed.’ So I was already telling y’all that…something was about to happen and that I wasn’t Hannah Montana. So I still relate to those songs a lot, so I really love that record that I made, ‘Can’t Be Tamed.’ That’s one of my favorite songs.”

“How’s it going for recording now?” Fallon asked. “Or new music or anything going forward?”

“You know, it’s definitely an interesting time because I’ve talked to other artists about this,” Cyrus said. “Like, my music is about, like, dancing with each other and getting sweaty and going out to the club and sharing drinks and cheersing and sharing a J or whatever it is, and when you can’t do that anymore…it feels like my music is a type of music that you want to really connect with people, so holding in until everyone can safely go and party together again.”

Members of the famous Kennedy family are again mourning one of their own.

The search for late former US Attorney General and Sen. Robert F. Kennedy‘s 40-year-old granddaughter Maeve Kennedy Townsend McKean and her 8-year-old son Gideon was suspended 26 hours after they were reported missing in the Chesapeake Bay near Annapolis, Maryland, the Coast Guard said on Friday night.

“We love you Maeve,” tweeted Maeve’s cousin Rep. Joe Kennedy III. We love you Gideon. Our family has lost two of the brightest lights. Grateful for the prayers. Hold your loved ones tight.

Another cousin, Kathleen Cavendish, Marchioness of Hartington, aka Kick Kennedy, paid tribute to the mom and son on Instagram.

“Today the coast guard informed my family that it has terminated rescue operations for my dear cousin Maeve, and her sweet Gideon. Our hearts break beyond description,” she wrote. “Maeve was a sister to me growing up. I cannot imagine my childhood, or my adulthood without her. She will live in a special place in my heart forever, brightened by Gideon’s sweet smile.”

“I mourn the loss of my cousins, and am reminded of how many others have lost the ones they love the most during these very difficult times in our world,” she continued. “It is a time to pray that we may find our way through this darkness with the guide of the love at the center of God’s broken heart.”

She added, “Please, pray for this family today, and for every family enduring turmoil today, and remember how precious life is. Maeve and Gideon, Rest In Peace.”

Cousin and former Rhode Island congressman Patrick Kennedy tweeted, “.@AmyKennedy715 and I are heartbroken. Maeve and Gideon were beautiful souls who touched so many lives, including our own.”

The family was self-quarantining at the Chesapeake Bay home of Maeve’s mother, former Maryland Lt. Gov. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, in recent days. Maeve’s husband, David McKean, said she and Gideon were playing kickball and one of them kicked the ball into the water, after which they “got into a canoe, intending simply to retrieve the ball, and somehow got pushed by wind or tide into the open bay.”

The Coast Guard said in a statement to CNN it had received a report of “two individuals were seen struggling to return to shore in a canoe” near Herring Bay, 10 miles south of Annapolis, and were “not seen again.”

Maeve’s mother said in a statement on Friday evening that the search for her “beloved daughter Maeve and grandson Gideon has turned from rescue to recovery.”

Maeve’s husband wrote on Facebook, “It is clear that Maeve and Gideon have passed away. The search for their recovery will continue, and I hope that that will be successful. At this time, our family asks for privacy and that everyone keep Maeve and Gideon in their prayers.”

Maeve and Gideon are also survived by the couple’s 7-year-old daughter Gabriella and 2-year-old son Toby.

Chris Hemsworth is a real-life superhero!

The 36-year-old Thor star and father of three knows all too well how difficult it is keeping children occupied while hunkering down at home with them during the coronavirus pandemic. So he, and his fitness and wellness app, are here to help fellow parents.

“And I thought, it’s not gonna work,” he continued. My kids are allergic to sitting still. But to my surprise, they actually did. And it calmed them down, ’cause kids ,you know, have anxiety and stress, all of that, like us, probably more so because they don’t understand it and it’s difficult for us to explain to them. But these guided meditations that my friend suggested doing actually was really beneficial. So what we’re doing with centr.com is I’m gonna narrate a few meditations, children-specific meditations—sleep visualizations, positive thoughts, that kind of thing—and you may get something from it.”

Hemsworth said Taika Waititi, director of Thor: Ragnarok and the upcoming fourth film Thor: Love and Thunder, will also narrate a few meditation exercises.
