Melissa Etheridge “loved” Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt together.

The iconic singer-songwriter couldn’t help but gush over her pals during a virtual appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Monday night. During a game of “Iso-Lay It On Us,” a fan asked Etheridge what she thought of the “hysteria” over Aniston and Pitt’s reunion earlier this year at the 2020 SAG Awards.

In response to the question about the exes, Etheridge—who performed at the celeb duo’s wedding in 2000—laughed and said, “Oh God! I was hoping I could do your show without mentioning her whose name will not be mentioned.”

“Oh, you know what? I loved Brad and Jen together, they were beautiful,” Etheridge went on to share. “I believe they will always remain friends because they’re two very special people that can get through anything. I just hope that their friendship lasts.”

Etheridge also added, “Of course we would always…those were the glory days…I remember those days.”

Pitt and Aniston, who split in 2005, have remained on friendly terms in recent years, with fans hoping for a romantic reunion. However, it seems as though they’re just supportive of one another.

During the same game on WWHL, fellow guests Kristen Johnston revealed what it was like dating Ryan Reynolds back in the ’90s. Describing the relationship in three words, Johnston said, “It was so long ago I forgot, but literally, so nice, great guy lovely. Lovely person.”

Peter Weber is setting the record straight.

The Bachelor star has recently fueled romance rumors with his former contestant, Kelley Flanagan.

Of course, it doesn’t help that the two have appeared in TikTok videos together and have been spotted hanging out in Chicago. 

Even Bachelor Nation’s biggest stars, including Dustin Kendrick, Clay Harbor, Chris Randone and others, are cheering the duo on.  

Since sparking romance rumors, neither Kelley or the 28-year-old pilot have addressed their relationship status.

Until now.

Speaking on Nick Viall‘s podcast—The Viall Files—Peter opened up about everything from spending time with Kelley to how things really went down with Hannah Brown to what he wished he did differently during The Bachelor finale.

With that said, to find out what the 28-year-old pilot had to say about Kelley, Hannah Ann Sluss, Madison Prewett, Brown, his mom and sooo much more, check out his transcript below.

On Reconnecting With Kelley:

“There’s a lot of stuff that people don’t know. My relationship with Kelley has been… serendipitous. You go all the way back to the very beginning—us running into each other before any of this stuff started. Obviously, the show happened and it didn’t work out for us. Over the Super Bowl, I was in Miami and I had the opportunity to go to the Super Bowl with my brother, and I ran into her on the Saturday night before the Super Bowl.”

“Within our relationship on the show, it didn’t really play out in the best way for us. It just wasn’t gonna work on the show. Fast-forward [to] now, a couple weeks ago, I’m out with Dylan [Barbour] and Devin [Harris] and I was texting Kristian [Haggerty], asking her if she wanted to come out with us. She’s comes out with us, she’s with Kelley. Me not knowing this. They show up, I see Kelley again… jaw drops. We chat, we end up hanging out and that’s when I got her number. We started to communicate and just stay in touch.”

On Being Quarantined With Kelley:

“She’s always been supportive of me. Long story short, I wasn’t working so I thought I’d go out there [to Chicago] and spend some time with her, take her mind off some [family] things. This was right when everything was starting to hit with the quarantine stuff… and it kind of just became a thing where we’ve always gotten along really well, and had really good chemistry. We just enjoy each other’s company. I just decided to quarantine up here with Dustin as well.”

On His Relationship With Kelley:

“Are we dating? No. Do I love spending time with her? Absolutely. We’re not dating. Could I see that in the future? Yeah, of course. I’d be extremely lucky and very happy if that happened. Of anyone, I’m the last person that needs to rush into any kind of relationship. I just had an engagement that didn’t work out. I just was trying to pursue things with another woman that didn’t work out. That’s why right now, I’m just taking it really, really slow.”

On How Things Ended With Hannah Ann Sluss:

“AFR, obviously, that was quite the ordeal. That was really tough for me… Knowing that I was about to see Hannah Ann again for the first time, and not really knowing what was gonna happen with Madison. That’s tough. Watching that breakup with Hannah Ann was brutal for me. I just felt so bad about the situation. I felt I let down so many people, Hannah Ann being number one, and myself. It’s a weird thing to breakup with someone and have it be so public. I was 100 percent in the wrong with Hannah Ann and with that relationship.”

“Going back to Australia and the engagement, I was so confused… and that last week was such an emotional rollercoaster for me, I probably shouldn’t have got down on one knee. I felt like I was in love with Hannah Ann and she was such a beautiful, amazing soul… I thought that was the best thing for me to do in that moment. It’s tough to go from that whole show, and then not see the person you’re engaged to, except for maybe three times in a matter of a couple of months. The foundation for that relationship, obviously, isn’t strong yet.”

On His Very Real But Very Short Romance With Madison Prewett:

“Right now, from the horse’s mouth, none of that was fake. None of that was staged, put on by the show, making it seem like I was into Madi. After, when she’d come to surprise me, I got her number and we started talking. I didn’t physically see her until [we were] on stage. But we were able to talk and have some honest, good conversations. Yeah, conversations we should’ve had when we were dating on the show. Looking back on it, I feel like we should’ve tried to see each other before we showed up on stage together.”

“That was tough, we left the stage together, we were supposed to do some press. We just couldn’t do it, we just weren’t in the right headspace. She went to her hotel to talk to her family for a bit, then she came over to my hotel … that was mainly just [us] trying to be there for each other. The second day [two days following AFR] was when we pretty much spent the entire day together, that was… okay, let’s figure this out. I remember going to her hotel… it was super sad. For probably six hours, we stayed on her bed there, we laughed, we cried, we hugged each other… it was rough.”

On His Mom, Barbara Weber:

“AFR, that was tough. Listen, my family in general, they’re my rock. I’ll defend them ’til the day I die. I love them more than anything. They truly just want the best for me. In regards to what occurred on stage, you know,… could [my mom’s] delivery been different? 100 percent. But where that was coming from was a place of pure love. That’s who my mom is. I respect the hell out of my mom. To be able to speak her mind and not feel the pressure to cave in to a certain narrative on live-television, in front of millions of people… that takes a strong person. That’s the love of a mother.”

On Reaching Out to Hannah Brown:

“We get the episodes earlier to watch before the season premiere. Hannah Brown had been given the episode as well. One day I saw that she DM’d me on Instagram (I didn’t have her number at that point). She was being really honest and open, and wondering if I had seen the episodes yet. She was kinda struggling with it, it was tough to watch.”

“I saw this message and [Hannah Ann and I] were on a ‘Happy Couple’ weekend, and we were watching the episodes together, and I told her that Hannah Brown had reached out, that it could be good for both of us to get some closure. To be completely honest, the way that whole conversation ended [with Hannah Brown on The Bachelor] wasn’t very definite. I was so confused in that moment… Those were real feelings being brought up. So Hannah Brown reached out to see how I was doing. I had asked Hannah Ann if it would be okay if I could communicate with Hannah Brown. She told me that it was fine as long as I didn’t see her in-person… she was, obviously, a little hesitant… and that’s why I wanted to be transparent about her with everything. Ultimately, she gave me the okay and Hannah Brown and I discussed things.”

On His Status With Hannah Brown:

“[We’re] very supportive of each other. She’d, honestly, constantly check in on me. ‘Cause the weeks that ensued were pretty tough. She had just been in that position. I have all the respect in the world for Hannah Brown. She’s been amazing and there for me pretty much at all times. There’s a really good mutual respect.”

The body of Maeve Kennedy has been recovered less than a week after she went missing on Thurs. April 2.

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources confirmed in a statement that authorities recovered the body of Maeve Kennedy in the evening hours of April 6. Searchers from the Charles County Dive and Rescue were able to locate Mckean about 2.5 miles from her mother Kathleen Kennedy Townsend‘s house, where she and her son Gideon were last seen.

The search for Gideon’s remains will resume on Tuesday morning. 

Authorities announced on Friday evening that the search for Maeve and Kennedy became a body recovery mission after they found their canoe tipped over in the water not far from the home. Maeve’s husband, David McKean, shared his own statement on Facebook, in which he partly shared, “It has been more than 24 hours, and the chances they have survived are impossibly small. It is clear that Maeve and Gideon have passed away.”

“I know that people have many questions about what happened as we grapple with this tragedy,” he continued, before sharing the sequence of events as it was shared to him. 

He shared, “There has been an overwhelming outpouring of love and support from so many people. Given who Maeve and Gideon were, I am not the least surprised. I am trying my best to respond. Many have asked what they can do. I don’t have any answers for that right now.”

Maeve is the granddaughter of Robert F. Kennedy and is survived by the many relatives of the Kennedy family, including Maria Shriver, who said on Instagram, “My cousin Kathleen’s statement says everything so beautifully.”

That’s just one of many bits of dialogue from the beloved Schitt’s Creek we’re going to find ourselves missing as the show wraps up tomorrow night. Sure, we’ve got five seasons to watch on Netflix and a sixth to watch on Pop, but nothing will ever top hearing some of those lines for the first time, and suddenly finding ourselves with incredible images in our heads.

Back in season three before David (Dan Levy) ever met and fell in love with Patrick, he had a little fling with a guy named Jake, and when Moira Rose (Catherine O’Hara) caught Jake stepping out of the shower, she looked at her horrified son and spoke those words to him, giving us a line that even Levy picked as one of his favorites. 

“The ‘disgruntled pelican’ line was something I think I’m most proud of, only because Catherine came up with so many good lines for herself, that it really was like, if we could get a line in there that that was on par with some of the stuff that she was doing, then success,” he told E! News ahead of the finale. “And to see the kind of internet life that that has had has been quite remarkable.” 

“I think I have a favorite line for every character, and I’m sure they’re all in memes and GIFS or GIFs [pronounced like JIFs], floating around the internet somewhere,” he continued. “And that’s kind of a lovely comfort knowing that this show will be around on the internet for quite some time, I think.” 

Levy did not share with us his picks for the best lines of every character, but we can share our own!

Schitt’s Creek‘s series finale airs Tuesday at 8 p.m., followed by a behind-the-scenes documentary on Pop. 

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are enjoying their time together as many others across the world continue to stay at home amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. 

While the two are aware that their experience isn’t universal, Joe told Andy Cohen on Instagram Live that it’s “been wonderful” being cooped up with Sophie. 

“I have got to ask her… I think for us, it is nice to have each other during this time, but I think it can be [different] for a lot of different people,” he explained. “We got married last year, so naturally just wanting to be together, it’s a really special time.” 

Joe added that spending more time at home has encouraged him to cook a lot more and that he’s never cooked more in his life than as of late. “I am trying to get my British delicacies down,” Joe said playfully. “For us it has been wonderful… the thing I would encourage other couples is to find fun creative ways to have a date night with one another.” 

Other than cooking, the couple has also spent their time building Legos and binge-watching shows. “We of course watched Tiger King in like a day,” he shared. “I’ve been binge-watching all the Quibi shows today I just want new content.” 

And Joe also has a new show coming out on Quibi. Cup of Joe follows the 30-year-old experiencing different cities across the world with some special celebrity guests including his very own wife Sophie, his brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas, Jack Black, Tina Fey, Lewis Hamilton and many more. The show will premiere on Quibi on April 27. 

The former Jonas Brother member also spoke to Andy about his relationship with his two brothers during quarantine.  “I haven’t seen them in a month and a half, but a lot of Zoom parties,” Joe said. “There have been Zoom trivia nights, which are a lot of fun.” 

Earlier this month, Sophie joined Conan O’Brien for an at-home version of Conan, where she gave us an update on how she and her husband are spending time at home.

“I’m kind of loving it,” she said. “Yeah, I mean I’m an introvert. I’m a homebody. Just like, if I could stay at home all day I would, so this is great for me. I leave the house once a day anyway to walk my dogs and then that’s it.”

The Game of Thrones alum also joked that social distancing is “great” because “you don’t have to get dressed up. I’m wearing my sweatpants. I’m business on top, party on the bottom.”

However, she also playfully shared that while she thrives at home, Joe’s extroverted ways makes it harder for him to stay put. “Everything seems to be working out in my favor here,” she added. “Joe’s like a, he’s a real social butterfly. So, I struggle to kind of lock him down and have him just spend time with me. So, it’s kind of…it’s, like, prison for him, but it’s great for me.”
