Selena Gomez Drops "Boyfriend" Music Video: All the Hidden Easter Eggs

Who will she choose?

Selena Gomez has just dropped the music video for her new song, “Boyfriend.” The song, released this week as a part of the deluxe version of her album Rare, is about looking for love in all the wrong places.

“I want a boyfriend/But I just keep hitting dead ends,” Gomez sings on the track. “Try to take a shortcut, but I get cut/Again and again.”

“I want a boyfriend/Tell me, are there any good ones left?” the 27-year-old star asks. “I keep finding wrong ones, but I want love/Again and again.”

The “Boyfriend” music video shows Gomez searching for that special someone. It appears that Gomez has also dropped a few Easter eggs in the visual. In the video, Gomez, wearing sunglasses at night, can be seen driving down the road in a fast car. The scene has been drawing comparisons to The Weeknd‘s “Blinding Lights” music video, which features a similar shot.

Gomez’s music video also prominently features frogs. And, as fans on social media have pointed out, Gomez’s ex The Weeknd has a scene with a frog in his visual for “Heartless.”

These Easter Eggs come on the heels of the release of two other new Gomez songs, “She” and “Souvenir.” In “Souvenir,” Gomez appears to reference her 10-month relationship with The Weeknd, which ended in late 2017.

“New York back in August/10th floor balcony,” Gomez sings on the track. “Smoke is floating over/Jane and Greenwich Street.”

The lyrics seem to be a nod to the former couple’s time together in New York City in the summer of 2017, where they were spotted on a number of date nights together. Gomez also references The Sunset Tower in Los Angeles in her song lyrics, where she was also spotted spending time with The Weeknd.

Chrissy Teigen Corrects Fans After Taylor Swift Lyric Mix-Up

No, Chrissy Teigen wasn’t tweeting about Taylor Swift.

The Chrissy’s Court star is clarifying her comments on social media after fans thought she was referencing T.Swift’s song, “The Archer.” It all started on Thursday when Teigen tweeted, “is cutting your nose off to spite your face a sagittarius thing or just a dumb idiot thing I can’t stop wanting to do.”

As Swifties will know, the Grammy winner’s song “The Archer” includes the lyrics, “I cut off my nose just to spite my face.” The line is reference to overreacting, or having a self-destructive reaction to a situation.

When fans of T.Swift saw Teigen’s tweet, they assumed she had been listening to her pal’s music, considering Swift is a Sagittarius too. However, that wasn’t exactly the case here, though Teigen does love Swift’s music.

After seeing the number of Swift-related responses to her previous tweet, Teigen returned to social media late Thursday to clarify her comments.

“Not okay with the amount of people who think this line was created by Taylor Swift,” Teigen wrote. “I am not talking about Taylor Swift, whose music I love but did not exist in the 12th century.”

Though she was not referencing the superstar artist, Teigen and T.Swift have been pals for years, with Swift even performing with Teigen’s husband John Legend during her 1989 World Tour in 2015. Legend joined Swift on the Staples Center stage in Los Angeles to sing “All of Me” as Teigen watched in the audience.

It was also just months ago that Teigen took to social media to defend Swift after she saw a sexist tweet aimed at the “Lover” singer.

“uhhhh you’re a f–kin weird ass,” Teigen wrote in response to the tweet as Swifties everywhere applauded.

Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick's Sweet Surprise for This Nurse's Kids Will Warm Your Heart

Can’t stop the feeling that this surprise was a hit.

With the coronavirus pandemic waging on, nurses all over the country are bravely and selflessly fighting this disease from the medical front lines. Such is especially the case for Stacie Kelly, an ER nurse who temporarily left her native Kansas to help in New York, where the number of coronavirus cases has exceeded any country outside of the United States.

The move was all the more difficult considering Kelly has to be away from her four kids, who remain in Kansas with her husband.

To express gratitude to Kelly for her immensely appreciated work, Hoda Kotb had a surprise up her sleeve for the mom’s youngsters.

“I heard a story, you guys, that you love Trolls!” the Today co-anchor said in a video chat with the siblings. Lucky for them, Kotb knows two of them.

While they were all on a video chat, Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick, who voice characters in the film and its sequel, Trolls World Tour, unexpectedly popped up on the screen. Needless to say, the kids were excited.

“You guys are so cute!” Kendrick said. “Are you guys so proud of your mom? You must think she’s the best mom in the world.”

“She’s my hero for sure,” Timberlake added.

“We’re really grateful to her. We’re really grateful to you, Dad, for holding down the fort with those four little angels. I’m sure that they give you no trouble,” the actress quipped.

“I got one 5-year-old and it’s hard for me to get him to sleep,” the Grammy winner quipped. “I don’t know how—you’re my other hero, bro.”

Watch Jimmy Fallon, Sting and The Roots Perform "Don't Stand So Close to Me" With Home Items

Jimmy Fallon, Sting and The Roots have an anthem for these times.

Amid the ongoing coronavirus and resulting sweeping social distancing, the Tonight Show host teamed up with the 18-time Grammy winner for another round of his show’s signature: performing hit songs with peculiar objects. While they typically use classroom instruments or office supplies for this segment, given the current situation, the two stars, backed by The Roots, performed the iconic hit via a 12-way video conference using musical objects from their own homes.

Such items included a jar, utensils, scissors, sneakers, a throw pillow and even the game Connect 4. Meanwhile, Sting also provided the main vocals and Fallon added in the harmonies.

The performance was a fitting coronavirus PSA given the unforgettable main lyric: “Don’t stand so close to me.”

The clip has already garnered more than 100,000 views—and counting.

“Jimmy, @theofficialsting & @theroots perform The Police’s “Don’t Stand So Close To Me” that rings true during quarantining #FallonAtHome,” The Tonight Show‘s Instagram post read.

In fact, Fallon has been hosting at-home versions of his late-night show for more than three weeks now as social distancing protocols remain enforced. As they say, the show must go on!

Garcelle Beauvais Reveals Which Beverly Hills Housewife She "Didn't Really Connect With"

Not all of the Beverly Hills ladies have to be BFFs. At least that’s Garcelle Beauvais‘ outlook!

E! News chatted exclusively with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ newest Housewife ahead of next week’s season 10 premiere to get the low down on which cast mates Beauvais did and didn’t get along with this season.

“I didn’t connect with Sutton right away,” Beauvais said of new Beverly Hills “friend of the Housewives” Sutton Stracke. “And I think she took offense to…I said to her, ‘We don’t all have to be friends, you know, best friends.’ And my thing was that in real life, you’re not best friends with everybody, you know? So I wanted to get to know her.”

The actress added, “I didn’t get a chance to get to know Kyle [Richards]. I think she’s hilarious. But I didn’t really connect with her as I have with some of the other ladies.”

When asked if she didn’t connect with Richards because they didn’t spend enough time together or if it’s due to their differing personalities, Beauvais explained, “I think a little bit of both. I think we spent a lot of time. You know, sometimes people are hard to get to know, you know?”

Beauvais added that she thinks the RHOBH OG might have “had her guard up a little bit” this season.

Regardless, Beauvais said she “had a ball” filming with the cast, which includes fellow actresses and longtime pals Lisa Rinna and Denise Richards, in addition to Erika Jayne, Teddi Mellencamp and Dorit Kemsley.

“Sometimes it was hard. Sometimes it was like, ‘What did I bargain for?’ But overall I think what people are going to see from me is really who I am. I keep it real,” she dished. “I feel like me and Erika have that in common. We say how we feel, we keep it moving.”

Watch the premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Wednesday, Apr. 15 at 8 p.m. on Bravo!
