On Monday, Selena Gomez gushed over Taylor Swift‘s songwriting skills during her interview with Apple Music, where she walked Zane Lowe through the songs she included on her “At Home With Selena Gomez” playlist for the popular streaming service. Among them was the Grammy winner’s hit song “Lover,” which Gomez believes perfectly encapsulates her evolving style of music.

“I mean, again, from the beginning, so there’s nothing really to say other than this is another song that shows her ability to take it back to the old, to also combine it with her challenging to do new things with her music,” she said of her longtime friend. “So I think that’s as pure that—I’ll always, not even biased, just think she is one of the greatest songwriters.” 

As for the overall vibe of her “At Home With” playlist, the “Rare” singer shared that she’s been gravitating towards “storytelling” songs from her favorite artists and real-life besties like Julia Michaels and Kacey Musgraves.

“I guess this quarantine has given me time to just listen to all kinds of music,” Gomez explained. “This was more last minute, but as I was going through it, I realized that it does kinda have a reoccurring theme. There’s so much storytelling in each of these songs. I sat back and I was like, that’s so interesting, because I have these pivotal songs that leave me in this trance and inspire me to then listen to other type of music,” adding, “It’s about lyrics, strong lyrics, a lot of love and pain and then there’s just some party songs that just make me feel like I’m a kid again.”

But when it comes to her all-time favorite musician, that title goes to Rihanna: “All I’m going to say is from the get go, I’ve been a Rihanna fan. ‘SOS’ to now,” Gomez shared. “So there isn’t any real moment that it isn’t gold, but ‘Love on the Brain,’ and when she performed that live, I think that’s one of the greatest songs of our time.

Reflecting on growing up in the industry, the “Lose You To Love Me” singer compared herself to Billie Eilish, whose song “everything I wanted” has an emotional connection to her. 

“First I’ll say just the understanding she—she already knows of what this industry can be and become,” she explained. “And when I heard that song I just sobbed because I’ve been doing this for so long and it’s like, damn, that’s so true. There’s so many moments where I was just like, ‘Oh, it doesn’t matter who you are.’ There’s moments in my life that’s like, ‘Is this it?’ She deserved every single thing that she got and has. She’s an amazing, amazing artist.”

In addition to talking about her favorite artists, Gomez also teased that she’s been working on new music while practicing social distancing.

“Currently, I’m actually building this little studio situation and I’m doing it with the people that have been in my house,” she explained. “So, I’m creating a little station where I’m going to be able to FaceTime with my engineer and some of my producer friends and we’re going to try to make some music, which I’m so excited about.”

On Monday, the Cats star showed off his culinary skills by making a “huge a$$” donut burger. Proudly showing off his creation on Twitter, Jason can be seen holding his massive take on the fast food staple, which he put together by sandwiching classic burger staples like a meat patty, lettuce, bacon and cheese between two large donuts.

“Made a HUGE A$$ Doughnut Burger,” he tweeted, along with images of himself about to dive into his innovative meal, which was done to commemorate reaching 17 million TikTok followers.

The “In My Head” singer treated fans to a behind-the-scenes look at how he crafted his celebratory donut burger on TikTok, documenting the entire process with a detailed video.

Kicking things off with his protein, Jason seasoned his patty, which had the number “17” written on it, to perfection and cooked it on his lavish outdoor grill. Then, he fired up some bacon and added it to the patty.

Once the meat was ready, he placed several slices of cheese on top and popped it into the oven to get it melted just right. As the burger was heating up, Jason took his giant donuts out of the oven and assembled his burger.

After taking a big bite into the donut burger, the “Swalla” singer addressed the camera and said, “Definitely the best burger I’ve ever eaten. Thank you for 17 million.”

Fans of Jason know that this isn’t his first drool-worthy TikTok creation. Earlier this week, he posted a video of himself making a chocolate pizza, which was done using instant pizza dough, Nutella, cookie dough bites, M&Ms and a crushed up Twix bar.

Once the pizza was done cooking, he topped the sweet treat with a caramel drizzle and couldn’t wait to take a bite. At the time, he was celebrating earning 16 million TikTok followers, so the drizzle spelled out the number “16.”

Meryl Streep just served up a big mood.   

The Devil Wears Prada star became the Internet’s new favorite social distancing meme after Sunday night’s star-studded Take Me to the World: A Sondheim 90th Birthday Celebration, which paid tribute to famous Broadway composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim on his milestone birthday.

Joined by Broadway legends Audra McDonald and Christine Baranski, Streep suited up in her finest robe, poured herself a classy martini and put on a virtual performance of Sondheim’s song “The Ladies Who Lunch” from the musical Company, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. 

Delighted by their performance, fans took to social media to give Streep, McDonald and Baranski their seal of approval. One fan wrote, “Meryl Streep, Audra MacDonald and Christine Barnaski singing Sondheim over Zoom in their bathrobes is, and I can not stress this enough, the ultimate mood.” Another chimed in, tweeting, “this added ten years to my life.”

Acknowledging that their number took place on the 1-year anniversary of the premiere of Avengers: Endgame, another fan quipped, “THIS IS OUR AVENGERS ENDGAME.” 

Streep’s robe-clad performance wasn’t the only moment of the livestream that people raved over. To celebrate Sondheim, Ben Platt and Beanie Feldstein teamed for a duet of “It Takes Two” from Into The Woods, another one of Sondheim’s famous musicals.

Excited to relish in the moment with Broadway fans, the Booksmart star shared a video of their performance on Instagram and wrote, “happy birthday, mr. sondheim.”

Also on hand for the celebrations was Lin-Manuel Miranda, Bernadette Peters, Patti LuPone, Donna Murphy, Kristin Chenoweth, Mandy Patinkin, Sutton Foster,Jake Gyllenhaal, Kelli O’Hara, Aaron Tveit, Stephen Schwartz and more.

Is Brie Bella giving husband Daniel Bryan mixed messages?

In this clip from Thursday’s all-new Total Bellas, the retired WWE superstar informs her husband (born Bryan Danielson) that she wants them to be more like Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev. Meaning, she wants to reincorporate PDA into their relationship.

“I think what we need to ask Artem and Nicole is how do we—how do I say this? How we can become a little more PDA again in public,” Brie tells Bryan as they ride a playground’s rocking horse. “All they do is kiss face in front of everyone and everything!”

“Is that what you want?” a confused Bryan asks.

While Brie teases that it would be “nice a little bit,” Bryan has a hard time believing this is what his wife really wants. Why?

Well, because he feels her actions don’t support her supposed PDA wishes.

“You know, it’s interesting though! Because it’s like every time I come home, I kiss you a bunch, but then every time I do it’s almost like you’re looking at your phone or doing business,” the professional wrestler explains. “It’s so true!”

Although Brie says this observation is just in Bryan’s head, she also accuses him of being lovey-dovey when she’s in the middle of work.

“We don’t have PDA anymore. We either joke about it, that like ‘Ha Ha Ha, it’s not there anymore, it’s funny,’ or we just ignore it because we’re too tired,” the Belle Radici co-founder relays in a confessional. “We still need to understand how it is to be a married couple, parents and just career people.”

As Brie reminds Bryan that he used to pinch her butt, the Washington-born wrestler makes it clear he has no interest being lovey-dovey in a playground. Later on in a confessional, Bryan reveals that Brie’s attention is pulled in many directions, causing him to “fall by the wayside.”

“We’re both feeling this disconnection,” he informs the Total Bellas camera. “It just shows, kind of, where we’re at in our relationship.”

Chrissy Teigen clapped back at a social media user on Sunday after the follower made a comment about her body.

It all started after the cookbook author posted a video of herself standing in front of a mirror while wearing a swimsuit. After seeing the 14-second clip, a Twitter user wrote, “Shaped like Sponge Bob lol.” However, Teigen didn’t waste any time shutting him down.

“I know u ain’t talking,” she replied.

After reading the exchange, a fan decided to send Teigen a few kind words. 

“I’m sorry everyone is being so rude to you,” the supporter tweeted. “You’re so beautiful inside and out.”

While Teigen seemed to appreciate the message, she also suggested she wasn’t going to let anyone bring her down.

“It’s OK I’ve been a rectangle my whole life and it’s gotten me pretty far!” she replied along with three heart emojis.

After another follower wrote “these comments are exhausting,” Teigen replied, “Yeah, they’re super mean lmao.”

She also had another fan come to her defense.

“Y’all too comfortable bullying online,” the commenter wrote. “Chrissy is a whole model and is more successful than y’all will ever be tf wrong w y’all putting someone down when they’re just tryna be confident. Sick.”

Teigen then replied to this comment with a heart emoji.

This wasn’t the first time Teigen had clapped back at a social media user.
