Loblaw Companies Ltd. is expanding a recall earlier this week pertaining to President’s Choice hummus.
The products may contain the toxin produced by staphylococcus bacteria and should not be eaten.
Loblaw says customers can return the recalled hummus for a refund and that the products have been removed from store shelves.
The company did not indicate if there any reported illnesses in connection with the recall.
The products include:

PC Chickpea Dip and Spread Hummus
PC Chickpea Dip and Spread Hummus
PC Garlic Hummus
PC Garlic Hummus
PC Moroccan-Style Hummus
PC Olive Tapenade Hummus
PC Red Harissa Hummus
PC Roasted Garlic Red Pepper and Cumin Hummus
PC Roasted Pepper and Paprika Hummus
PC Roasted Red Pepper and Chipotle Hummus
PC Spicy Hummus
PC Spicy Hummus
