“Honesty, of course trust, being faithful, making me laugh, those are all the dream right?” she told Alli Simpson Friday night on Radio Disney. “It will happen. I don’t want to force anything. Just somebody you can enjoy living life with.”
Admirers of the former Disney star, however, may believe she’s found someone special with Zedd. Ever since collaborating on the smash hit single “I Want You to Know,” the pair have sparked plenty of romance rumors. So, is this more than a work relationship after all?

“He’s this cute little German, and he’s got really beautiful eyes, and he’s very sweet and funny,” she shared during the interview. “I respect his vision because he has a way of knowing how important his role is as an EDM artist, and he doesn’t spend most of his time traveling the word DJing.”
She added, “He really spent so much time on this record… He’s great, and very talented.” Sorry fans, not going to get a relationship confirmation in this Q&A.
One thing Gomez will share is the unique way she met Zedd. Turns out a full bladder can really bring people together.

“He and I met when we were recording using the same building and he needed to use my bathroom,” she explained. “We ended up talking, sharing music and it happened organically. He’s great, and he cares so much about the meaning of his songs.”
While trying to put romance rumors aside, Gomez couldn’t help but avoid the fun and innocent question of who her celebrity crush was growing up. As it turns out, it’s another pop star known for his heartfelt lyrics.
“Of course, I loved Jesse McCartney. For sure loved the ‘Beautiful Soul’ thing,” she admitted while laughing. “That was like my thing. The hair flip, the blond hair. I couldn’t help it.”
