
A video showing a dark SUV striking a postal worker in north Edmonton, stopping for a moment and then driving away has been released by police, who hope it will lead to to finding the driver of the vehicle.

Greg Mady is recovering in hospital from a broken knee and three compound fractures in his right leg and one in his left after he was hit by a SUV as he was leaving his Canada Post van to begin his route near 127th Avenue and 125th Street.
The SUV, believed to be a dark, older model Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango or a Nissan XTerra with a roof rack and tinted window, left the scene without stopping.
Witnesses told police the vehicle slowed down briefly before speeding away down 126th Street.
