- More than 90% (23,567) oral health providers are providing care to Canadians under the CDCP. More than 3 million Canadians have been approved to receive care.

November 2024 - Paper claim submissions for services covered under the CDCP are now accepted, and the CDCP begins accepting requests for services that require preauthorization.
- October 2024
- More than 89 % (22,340) oral health providers are providing care to Canadians covered under the plan. More than 2.7 million Canadians have been approved to be part of the plan, while 1 million of them have received care. CDCP Benefits Guide was updated to include details on preauthorization.

September 2024 - More than 82% (20,500) oral health providers are participating in the CDCP. More than 2.4 million Canadians have been approved to receive coverage under the CDCP, while 650,000 of them have already received care.

August 2024 - More than 75% (19,000) oral health providers are participating in the CDCP and more than 2.3 million Canadians have been approved under the plan. Nearly 450,000 eligible Canadians have received care.

July 2024 - Close to 48% (12,000) oral health providers have signed up to the CDCP. More than 2.1 million Canadians have been approved under the plan. Participation on a claim-by-claim basis for providers is launched. Over 11,000 adults with valid federal Disability Tax Credit and children under 18 have now enrolled.

- More than 45% (11,400) oral health providers are offering services to CDCP members. Online applications expand to adults with a valid federal Disability Tax Credit certificate for 2023, and children under the age of 18.

May 2024 - Applications open for seniors aged 65 to 69. More than 39% (10,000) oral health providers have signed up to participate to the CDCP and 2 million Canadian seniors have been approved to receive coverage. Seniors with a May coverage start receiving care under the plan which led to 149,368 approved claims for a total of $50.2 million.

April 2024 - Already 20% (5,000) oral health providers have confirmed their participation to the CDCP and the 2024 Dental Benefit Grids are made available. 1.7 million seniors have been approved to receive oral health care services.

March 2024 - Applications open for seniors aged 70 to 71. Oral health providers can confirm their participation in the CDCP and 1.3 million seniors have been approved to receive oral health care services through the plan.

- Applications open for seniors aged 72 to 76. Services to be covered by the CDCP are announced as well as 2023 established fees to help inform providers ahead of the release of the 2024 fees. Over 665,000 applications are deemed eligible.

January 2024 - Applications open for seniors aged 77 to 86. More than 425,00 applications are deemed eligible.

December 2023 - CDCP is launched and applications open for seniors aged 87 and above. Over 40, 000 applications are deemed eligible.
