The Best Fashion Week Street Style Boot Trends to Shop
Fashion Week happens during two weather extremes: the heat of the tail end of summer and the bitter cold of midwinter. The street style coming out of the latter always provides great shoe inspiration, since (most) people dress to not only attend the shows but also brace the elements. When you know you’ll be photographed in the snow, sleet, and rain of February, you get creative with your footwear choices.
Instead of narrow pumps, most of the Fashion Week crowd opted to wear some kind of boot, literally made for walking. There were on-trend cowboy boots, as well as of-the-moment square-toe boots; there were also more sensible lug-soled hiking boots, which are as unexpected as they are appreciated in the middle of winter.
Because it’s Fashion Week, most of these came from brands like Proenza Schouler, Tibi, and Ganni. But you can find the same styles either on sale or from much more affordable brands, like & Other Stories and Mango, for $200 or less. Shop the top five boot styles everyone was wearing in street style, ahead.
