Edmonton police will provide an update on the child abuse case involving five children who were found to be forcibly confined in a northeast townhouse.
The case, which CBC Edmonton first reported in December, involved two children, ages three and six, who were found inside furniture boxes with several broken bones.
Three other children, ages two, three and five, were also in the home. Two mothers were charged with attempted murder, unlawful confinement and abandonment in December.
EPS will provide an update on the case at 2 p.m. CBC Edmonton will livestream the news conference.
