A gunman has injured several people in Zurich and remains at large, a police official in Switzerland’s largest city said Monday.
Police were swarming to the scene in pursuit of the attacker, the official said on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak publicly about the matter.
The SDA news agency reported that the victims were adults who were outside of an Islamic centre. Police said is unclear whether the attack had anything to do with the location.
Police told German-language daily Blick that three people had been injured before the gunman fled the scene.
