Edmonton police have released a grainy photo of an SUV they say may be connected to the brutal beating death of a man in April.
Kelly Thompson, 34, was found severely injured in northwest Edmonton on April 14 after being beaten with a baseball bat, police said. Thompson died in hospital from blunt force trauma two days later.

Police said four or five suspects wearing dark clothing and hoods got out of a vehicle, attacked the man, then fled in the area.
This vehicle is believed to be a light-coloured SUV with tinted windows, police said on Wednesday.
“We are looking to speak with anyone who may have seen this newer model SUV in and around the area of 137 Street and 115 Avenue on the evening of April 14, 2016,” Det. Alan Elliott said in a media release.
“We hope this photo will jog the memory of someone who has information critical to this homicide investigation.”
Kelly’s death was declared the city’s 15th homicide of the year.
