Santa Claus is coming to Edmonton later today.
To make way for his annual parade of lights downtown, there will be some road closures between 4 and 7 p.m.
The parade begins on Jasper Avenue at 100th Street, turning north on 101st Street. At 103A Avenue, it goes east to 99th Street where it turns south to wrap up outside the Winspear Centre.
The westbound lanes of Jasper Avenue between 97th Street and 100th Street will be closed from 2 to 6 p.m. for staging.
Motorists should expect other traffic diversions and delays in the area.
