RCMP are investigating after a man was shot in the small northern Alberta community of Iron River.
Around 7 p.m. Monday, Bonnyville RCMP responded to a report that a man had been shot. When they arrived, officers found a victim in a truck with a single gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to hospital with a serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police do not believe the shooting was random. They say four suspects fled the area in an older blue Chevy truck that had duct tape covering the back window.
RCMP are asking anyone with information to come forward.
