An Edmonton man drowned while vacationing near Penticton, the B.C. Coroner’s Service confirmed.
Ilas Bajramoski, 69, was seen floating on an air mattress in Skaha Lake the afternoon of July 30. An hour later, he was found unresponsive in the water, about 60 feet from the shore.
He was taken to the dock by a boat, but could not be resuscitated.
The coroners service is investigating the man’s death, and his family has been notified.
