RCMP have issued a second-degree murder warrant for a man wanted in connection with a homicide in Onoway last month.
Glen Allen Abbott, 37, was found dead in his home on June 26.
Investigators say a man and his girlfriend were with Abbott before he was killed.
The three were involved in an attempted robbery with a gun, police say, when they tried to carjack a mother and her six-year-old son as they left a graduation ceremony.
The female carjacker was later arrested and charged with attempted robbery.
Her boyfriend is now wanted for the second-degree murder of Abbott and for attempted robbery.
Onoway is around 70 kilometres northwest of Edmonton.
