A man was arrested Thursday afternoon after he climbed a fence around the airfield at the Edmonton International Airport, RCMP say.
The man scaled the fence on the southwest side of the airfield at about 1:20 p.m., and left the area shortly afterward by crawling under the fence on the south side.
RCMP responded with police dogs and arrested the man without a struggle.
The incident had no impact on flights or passengers using the airport.
Further information will be provided should charges be laid, police say.
