Sunday’s First Amendment Demonstration Run is organized by the motorcycle group Rolling Thunder and is typically held during Memorial Day weekend.
Thousands of bikers were taking part in the 29th annual ride, travelling from the Pentagon, across the Memorial Bridge, to the Vietnam War Memorial.
The event is one of the largest annual gatherings of bikers in the United States.
They have been big supporters of Trump, often lining the streets to show their support of the billionaire businessman.
