We’re hearing wedding bells!
Jacqueline Laurita‘s daughter Ashlee Holmes is engaged to boyfriend Pete Malleo. The adorable duo announced the exciting news on their Instagram pages, each sharing the same pic of themselves with the gorgeous New York City skyline in the background.
“I said ‘yes,'” Ashlee captioned her picture Thursday. “Thank you for such an amazing day @c3peteo …I’m so excited for this next chapter of our lives.”
On his picture, Pete wrote, “Today I asked my best friend to marry me and she said “yes” @ashleenicholexx.”
Aw! The Real Housewives of New Jersey star also congratulated her daughter on social media, sharing her daughter’s picture on her own Instagram profile and giving her a wonderful shout out on Twitter. “Say congratulations to my daughter @ashleeholmes & her fiancé @c3pete0,” she tweeted. “We are thrilled to announce their engagement!”

Now that Jacqueline is returning to the Bravo reality series in a full capacity, perhaps viewers will see her daughter’s engagement play out on the small screen. Ashlee also has appeared on RHONJ, so there’s no saying what might be included in the forthcoming season. What we do know, however, is that Jacqueline will continue to focus on her son Nicholas Laurita, who is autistic.
Bravo did say, though, that with Teresa Giudice‘s return Jacqueline “longs for the ‘Lucy and Ethel’ friendship she had with Teresa and is willing to bury the past if it means a more light-hearted future.”
Regardless, Jacqueline couldn’t help but express her excitement over her grand return. “I’m baaaaack! I can’t get enough of my Bravo family!” Jacqueline told BravoTV.com. “Sometimes a little break is all I need to jump back in and bring my best! Looking forward to new beginnings. XOXO.”
And now that she’ll be getting a new son-in-law, Jacqueline has quite a few “new beginnings” to celebrate! Congratulations to the happy couple.
