It turns out J.K. Rowling isn’t the only one out there who’s been affected by Matthew Lewis‘ sexy photo shoot.
The Harry Potter actor, best known for playing wizard hero Neville Longbottom, shocked fans the world today when his, erm, revealing photo shoot for Attitude mag was released. This isn’t the first time that audiences have been treated to Lewis’ kind-of-newfound hotness, but it was certainly the most memorable. After all, it’s not every day that you see a Hogwarts attendee’s…package.

Naturally, when you see a former child star posing in his skivvies, one’s first instinct is to react strongly. Some fans were shocked/disturbed/saddened by Neville’s presumed loss of innocence. If your last memory is of the boy wizard getting stunned by Hermione Granger, you’re going to take his chiseled-ness uneasily. Others went the opposite direction and decided to joke away their awkwardness. Because if there’s one thing the internet loves, it’s puns.
And the puns were plentiful. There were funny puns, dirty puns and inappropriate blush-inducing puns. Let’s just say we’ll never look at the words Slytherin and wand the same way again.
