An 11-year-old boy is accused of joining two teens in a series of break-ins at Ma-Me-O Beach in central Alberta.
Over the last three weeks RCMP reported 10 break-ins involving homes, garages and businesses in the Pigeon Lake resort community.
The thieves made off with household items as well as quads and motorcycles.
Last Saturday police responded to three residential alarms in the area.
No suspects were found, but officers figured they were not far away.
A search turned up a quad hiding in a ditch near a tree line and led to the arrests of two males. The quad had been stolen from a nearby garage.
Police eventually recovered other stolen items as well as information on more stolen goods stashed elsewhere. The items led to the arrest of a third male.
Police have charged an 18 year old and a 16-year-old with breaking and entering and possession of stolen property.
The 11 year old cannot be charged under Canadian law.
Break-ins and thefts have been an ongoing issue in the Ma-Me-O Beach area.
