Police are investigating a death in St. Albert.
Investigators at a crime scene near a housing development called the Nevada Place apartments told CBC Monday night a man believed to be in his twenties is dead. They are treating his death as suspicious.
RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Leigh Drinkwater would not confirm social media reports of gunshots.
As of 12 a.m. MST Tuesday, RCMP had not issued a warning to the public about this incident.
St. Albert, a community about 14 kilometres northwest of Edmonton, was the scene of a tragic RCMP shooting in Jan. 2015.
