When it comes to home décor, Drew Barrymore‘s husband takes things very seriously.

In fact, Will Kopelman‘s private residence he shares with his wife and two kids isn’t just a place composed of ordinary rooms. In reality, each space is complete with creative, unique items that truly makes this house a home.

“I wanted to create a space that is a completely unfiltered expression of my aesthetic,” he shared in the new issue of Architectural Digest. “It’s my own personal bubble of peace.”

For the first time, fans can step inside as the actor and art adviser showcases his perfectly organized closet as well as his man cave complete with art, books, family photographs and beloved keepsakes.

“I was awestruck when he finally showed the space to me,” Barrymore confessed to the magazine. “It was so beautiful and modern, in a completely unexpected way that is pure Will.”

Close family friend Gwyneth Paltrow was even blown away when she saw Kopelman’s work up close and personal.

“Will is not a snob, but he knows quality,” the Goop founder shared. “I’ve been on a mission to get him to start his own design firm.” Not a bad idea at all!

The unique room that caught our attention the most was the bathroom with a tub that reminded the publication of a set piece from Grand Hotel, the 1932 movie starring John Barrymore

“I actually cried—partly because it’s so much nicer than my bath, which looks like something from an old folks’ home, and partly because it was finally done after nearly three years,” Barrymore confessed.

Kopelman, on the other hand, has a different take. “There’s an element of cinematic fantasy in the bath’s design,” he explained. “But I tried to evoke a certain mood without resorting to clichés or cartoonish gestures.”

Facts are facts: This place looks great. We’ll take an invite whenever you’re ready!
