More questions are being raised about how Alberta will weather the continuing slump in oil prices.
Premier Jim Prentice has recently revealed that the province is forecast to end the year with a $500 million deficit.
Now the Conference Board of Canada says that the drop in oil may push Alberta into a recession.
This afternoon, Prentice will speak 1,000 people at luncheon hosted by Edmonton Economic Development at Shaw Conference Centre.
