Rihanna‘s Christmas “tree” actually looks like diamonds in the sky!
But surely that’s exactly the point.
Just as she does with her fashion choices on a daily basis and what’s considered suitable for the red carpet, RiRi has pushed the envelope with what’s considered a Christmas tree.
The Barbadian-born hitmaker has passed on the usual pine or fir (or plastic) and opted for a multi-tiered pyramid that you can probably have too if you’re all stocked up on cardboard, black spray paint, sparkles and glue!

“black ice,” Rihanna captioned one of her tree-admiring pics on Instagram, a close-up of the crystal-studded creation (which, we have no doubt, in reality costs a pretty penny). And look, the stocking (marked with her real name, Robyn, has some goodies in it already!
“Best tree everrrrr,” she added.
The singer—again sporting extensions and a nearly makeup-free face—also had an impromptu photo shoot in front of the tree with photographer pal Melissa Forde, both ladies wearing blue furry jackets.
“smurfette couture @mdollas11,” Rihanna tagged the pic.
And even though Santa might get confused upon arrival, we still want a tree just like Rihanna’s when we grow up.
