The Alberta government will spend $160 million over the next four years to renovate and replace seniors’ lodges in rural Alberta.
Premier Jim Prentice announced the initiative in his speech Thursday to the Association of Municipal Districts and Counties in Edmonton.
The program will be jointly funded by the federal and Alberta governments.
