A man shot in west Edmonton early Saturday has died in hospital.
The 30 year old was taken to hospital in critical condition after a shooting in the city’s west end.
Police were called to a home near 133rd Street and 155th Avenue around 5 a.m. Saturday. A man had been shot in a nearby residence, but managed to make it to a neighbour’s for help.
The suspect fled the area.
Police believe the suspect and the victim knew each other and say the shooting was not a random attack. Homicide detectives are investigating.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday.
