Homicide detectives are now investigating the disappearance of an Edmonton man last month.
Gamteysa Muhamed was last seen in the Dickinsfield neighbourhood on Sept. 7. (Edmonton Police Service )
Gamteysa Muhamed, 21, was last seen on Sept. 7 near 146th Avenue and 72nd Street in the Dickinsfield neighbourhood.
His family thinks he was going to watch a football game but hasn’t been seen since.
Detectives now believe that Muhamed was involved in high-risk behaviour that may have caused his disappearance.
Muhamed is described as being 6-feet-tall and 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red hoodie with a white zipper and blue jeans.
Police are asking people in and around Edmonton to check their properties before snow arrives.
