The Blacklist, Big Bang Theory, Scorpion and More: How Were the Big Premieres?

The Blacklist, Scorpion, The Big Bang Theory and Gotham helped kick off the fall TV season with big premieres on Monday.

On NBC, The Voice (with new coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams) kicked things off at 8 p.m. Following the singing competition series was the return of Raymond “Red” Reddington and Special Agent Elizabeth Keane at 10 p.m. in The Blacklist.

The Big Bang Theory kicked off the night on CBS with two new episodes. Scorpion, starring Elyes Gabel and Katharine McPhee, followed at 9 p.m., with the Under the Dome season finale airing at 10 p.m.

Fox’s Gotham, starring Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, Jada Pinkett Smith and Robin Lord Taylor, debuted at 8 p.m. and Sleepy Hollow kicked off its sophomore season at 9 p.m.

ABC’s two-hour block of Dancing With the Stars was followed by new drama Forever.

And those were just the network TV shows!

The Blacklist season two kicked off with guest stars Krysten Ritter and Mary Louise Parker as the battle against Berlin (Peter Stormare) continued. Meanwhile, Sheldon (Jim Parsons) returned on The Big Bang Theory and Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting) got new haircut. On Scorpion, Walter, his team of geniuses, and Paige, the ordinary waitress who helps them interact and connect emotionally, helped save thousands of lives and prevent dozens of planes from crashing. Ioan Gruffudd made his debut as a medical examiner who can’t die on Forever and Icahbod Crane (Tom Mison) returned in Sleepy Hollow. Got all that?
