Magic Mike is getting a giant dose of sexiness, from a woman!
Actress Jada Pinkett Smith confirmed on Monday’s episode of the Queen Latifah Show that she will have a special role in the upcoming sequel, Magic Mike XXL.
“Channing Tatum and [director] Gregory Jacobs and Warner Bros. really took a chance,” she told Queen Latifah. “It was a character written for a male that they wanted to turn into a female.”
Before she could elaborate any further, Latifah had to ask the next obvious question: Is she going to be one of the dancers?
“No, not one of those men,” Jada clarified while laughing. “I can’t really reveal it yet but I’m very excited about it. It’s been a lot of fun.”

While Matthew McConaughey will not reprise his role in the upcoming sequel, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and Tatum are all expected to return.
With so many impressive abs on-set, how is the Gotham star dealing with all the hotness around her?
“You’ve got to know I’m used to being around beefcake like that because you know who I live with,” she explained. “I’m used to that kind of beef cakeness in my environment.”
Have you seen the pictures of Jada and her husband, Will Smith, on vacation in Hawaii? Yes Jada, we understand.
She added, “I can handle it. They know. I don’t have to say anything!”

Jada isn’t the first exciting casting announcement. Last week, E! News confirmed that Andie MacDowell, Elizabeth Banks and Amber Heard will be joining Tatum and the guys for the sequel.
Magic Mike XXL is described as “very different” from the previous film. In fact, the director recently shared a preview for fans.
“It’s road trip movie, and put it this way: It’s different enough that once you see it, you’ll understand why we made a sequel,” Jacobs teased. “No one will be accusing us of making the same movie twice.”
Hmmm, we’re definitely intrigued!
Magic Mike XXL is scheduled to hit theatres July 1, 2015.
