Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler's Divorce Had Nothing to Do With ''Cheating,'' Source Says

Sad news, Very Cavallari fans!

On Sunday, Kristin Cavallari shared the shocking news that she and Jay Cutler decided to get a divorce. As many know, the two have been together for nearly a decade and share three kids: Camden Jack Cutler (7), Jaxon Wyatt Cutler (5) and Saylor James Cutler (4).

The pair’s 7th wedding anniversary would’ve been in June.

“With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” the reality TV personality shared on Instagram, alongside an image of her and the retired NFL star.

“We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of,” her statement continued. “This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”

Jay also shared the same statement on his Instagram account, alongside a black-and-white image of him and The Hills alum.

According to an insider, the couple had been dealing with marriage issues for quite some time.

“This isn’t out of the blue. They’ve been trying to make it work for a while,” the source told E! News.

Fans of the E! show will know that the couple didn’t hold back for the cameras when it came to their relationship. Recently, the Uncommon James founder opened up about some of her struggles with her marriage.

“Jay has been great, yes. From the outside, things are so perfect and things are so great,” she explained. “But actually, they’re not. And that sucks. It sucks. That’s the thing, though, with marriage… it’s ups and downs.”

She added, “But in two months we could be up here again… that’s how we’ve always been, our whole relationship. It is what it is.”

She expressed that there is “no such thing as a perfect relationship.”

“Jay and I have problems. I’ve always been very vocal about that,” she shared. “We have to work at our relationship, so hearing him say that we’re perfect is kind of silly to me. We definitely have issues.”

The insider pointed out that “cheating” was not a factor in their decision to split.

During season 3, Kristin revealed that she had a strained relationship with her best friend, Kelly Henderson, after cheating rumors swirled between her and Jay.

“When season two was airing, there was a lot of talk on social media about Jay and Kelly having an affair. Not for one second have I ever thought that it was true,” Kristin said. “It wasn’t the actual accusations of them having an affair that made me upset, it was how Kelly went about it.”

The NFL star and Kelly both denied the affair allegations.

To see Kristin and Jay’s romance on Very Cavallari, you can catch up on all the episodes, here.

“With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” the reality TV personality’s lengthy caption began, alongside an image of her and the retired NFL star.

“We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of,” her statement continued. “This is just the situation of two people growing apart. They tied the knot in 2013 in Nashville. The duo had been engaged since November 2011, after dating on and off for years.

During this season, the Uncommon James founder had some rocky moments with her best friend, Kelly Henderson, after cheating rumors swirled between her and Jay.

“When season two was airing, there was a lot of talk on social media about Jay and Kelly having an affair. Not for one second have I ever thought that it was true,” Kristin expressed. “It wasn’t the actual accusations of them having an affair that made me upset, it was how Kelly went about it.”

Despite those affair allegations, which the NFL star and Kelly denied, the season showed Jay and Kristin in love more than ever.

“There’s an ease about traveling with Kristin that’s very comforting. And she surrounds herself with really good people,” Jay said of his leading lady, during their Italy trip. “You guys all mean a lot in her life and you’ve meant a lot in my life as I’ve got to know you.”

He added, “To Kristin—thank you for making our relationship better and better each and every day. She doesn’t settle for anything less. So thank you!”

Matt James Seemingly Addresses Clare Crawley Drama by Defending His Cameo Account

The new Bachelorette season hasn’t even started yet, and there’s already drama.

In case you missed it, here’s a refresher on the latest happenings in the Bachelor Nation world. On Saturday, Clare Crawley appeared to call out her contestant, Matt James.

“If you are doing interviews and creating Cameo accounts before you are even on my season… you are in it for the wrong reasons… #dontwasteyourtime,” The Bachelorette lead tweeted.

She added, “Respect the opportunity you’ve been given. Respect the rules. Respect me. @BacheloretteABC.”

However, many online were quick to point out that James has been active on Cameo and other social media platforms to help raise money for those impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic.

Later that day, James took to his Instagram Stories to chat about his latest charitable endeavors. Moreover, he also appeared to address the Crawley drama by reminding his followers why he continues to be on Cameo.

“Now for those of you who may have missed the messaging earlier this week, myself and Alex Bachman… pledged all of our Cameo earnings to the Robin Hood Foundation to fight this fight,” James shared.

He explained why he’s used Cameo to do just that.

“We’re just coming up with creative ways to raise money for these kids that are the future and I hope y’all can help,” he expressed.

Earlier this week, the reality TV personality spoke to E! News ahead of his NEOU Fit-A-Thon, which was a 12-hour fitness Instagram Live event that raised money for healthcare workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“These hospitals that have been really fighting this battle and this virus… They’re working 12-hour shifts, they’re having to reuse their masks and there’s a shortage of supplies and materials,” he told us exclusively. “So, when [Operation Food Fight founder] Pat [Long] reached out to me, it was a no-brainer.”

He added, “It’s a light ask to take 30 minutes to an hour to spend time working out—something that I try to do every day—and be a part of something that’s going to be a great cause, and hopefully raise a lot of money and bring a lot of eyeballs to the work that these nurses and first responders are doing across the country.”

He also mentioned his excitement over the upcoming season of the ABC series, in a separate interview.

“There’s a very beautiful young lady in Sacramento right now who’s quarantining and who is patiently waiting for production on a show to pick back up and I’ve been waiting as well,” he shared with us. “and I’m hoping after everything settles down and everyone is safe that I’ll finally get to meet her. I’m looking forward to it.”

Brad Pitt Answers Dr. Anthony Fauci's Wish and Plays Him on SNL

Dream do come true!

Earlier this month, Dr. Anthony Fauci said he’d want Brad Pitt to portray him on Saturday Night Live. Fast forward to last night (April 25), and the health expert got his wish.

The late-night comedy sketch show once again showed its cast members collaborating with various celebrities in their respective homes amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

Kicking things off, the Oscar winner dropped jaws during the cold open with his monologue about President Donald Trump‘s recent (and concerning) comments about COVID-19.

“Good evening, I’m Dr. Anthony Fauci,” Pitt began his monologue and looked nearly identical to the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

He continued, “Now, there’s been a lot of misinformation out there about the virus. Yes, the president has taken some liberties with our guidelines. So tonight, I would like to explain what the president was trying to say.”

Pitt perfectly blended humor with facts during his segment, as he portrayed Dr. Fauci.

In the cold open, snippets of Trump’s interviews were shown and then the actor would clarify those comments in his own way.

“Anybody that needs a test, gets a test… they’re there. We have the tests. And the tests are beautiful,” Trump can be seen saying in a previous interview.

Fauci’s (aka Pitt’s response)? “Okay, couple of things: I don’t know that I would describe the test as beautiful… unless, your idea of beauty is having a cotton swab tickle your brain.”

“Also, when he said everyone can get a test, what he meant was almost no one,” Pitt added.

Those weren’t the only funny tidbits, either. To see the full 3-minute video in all its hilarity, watch the video above!

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)

Ranking TV's Top 20 Badass Female Characters

HBO; BBC America; Showtime/E! Illustration

It’s time to say goodbye to Carrie Mathison.

After eight seasons and two Emmy awards for star Claire Danes‘ portrayal of the CIA agent with a knack for sniffing out terrorist operatives, Homeland is signing off, airing its series finale on Sunday, April 26. And when the landmark Showtime series fades away into that good night, it takes with it a groundbreaking character that not only made Danes the second actress to ever win all five main TV acting awards for her performance in the lead actress categories, but allowed for a female spy to be as complicated and competent as her male counterparts.

In other words, Carrie felt real.

While it remains to be seen if she’ll be able to save the day in the show’s ultimate hour, what can’t be disputed is just how badass she was. Whatever anyone thinks of the show itself, which has certainly cooled in public opinion over the years, there’s no denying Carrie will go down as one of the all-time great TV characters. But how does her badassery stack up against the ladies who either came before or since her?

Before we bid Carrie adieu, let’s see where she lands in our ranking of TV’s top 20 badass women!
