Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel Give "Court Ordered" Couples Therapy Another Chance

Jimmy Kimmel

It’s time for Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon to visit a shink, again!

More than 10 months after their last session, the Hollywood stars decided to give couples counseling another chance Monday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Before we get into the details, let’s just say this session was long overdue.

Whether discussing their last physical altercation or the infamous After the Oscars special, these guys haven’t exactly seen eye-to-eye. Can you please help Dr. Paul Kundinger?

“You say I’m going to be on the show and I’ve never been on the show so I took matters into my own hands,” Matt explained. Jimmy added, “He snuck onto the show even though he wasn’t supposed to be on the show. He decided I am going to force myself onto the show.”

With close to 14 years of hurt feelings under their belt, the pair decided to do some art therapy during their “court ordered” therapy. The results are nothing short of hilarious.

For those who haven’t followed the innocent—and hilarious—feud, it all started in 2003 when Jimmy first closed a show by saying, “Apologizes to Matt Damon, we ran out of time” as a joke to make one of his producers laugh.

In 2007, the feud was reignited when Jimmy announced that his sidekick Guillermo would be taking on the role of Jason Bourne in The Bourne Ultimatum. “Are you from Kimmel?” Matt asked when first hearing the news. “What, now he wants to bump me from my own f–king movies?!”

Somehow, someway, Sarah Silverman and Ben Affleck became apart of the pair’s skits that ultimately received Creative Arts Emmy nominations. In other words, this “feud” is the gift that keeps on giving.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs weeknights at 11:35 only on ABC.
