Fans are already well-aware that newlyweds Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are never ones to shy away from gushing about each other (#relationshipgoals, right?), so it probably doesn’t come as much of a surprise that the blue-eyed hunk did something special for his lady on her big day.
The Vampire Diaries star probably has more up his sleeve, but for now, he took to Twitter to wish his wife a happy birthday, while acknowledging just how amazing he thinks she is.

“Oh my god, time flies! It’s a big one,” Reed shared of her birthday while chatting with E! News at Maybelline New York’s 100th anniversary party. “We are planning a little birthday BBQ so something is happening, literally flying in for it.”
She added, “You know, I don’t get to spend as much time with my family as I’d like so I try to make it such a priority. Any form of a celebration, whether it’s a birthday or holiday or whatever it is, we try to all get together.”
