Iceland is very nice

What: Like the sounds of a nice dinner of cured and fermented shark served with a side of boiled sheep head? How about Bjork? How about some of the most jaw-droppingly spectacular scenery, award-winning musicians, artists and a fascinating cultural history? Then the Taste of Iceland is the place for you to be this weekend.
When? April 9 to 12
Vroom, vroom
What: Coming fast and furious on the heels of Furious 7 is the Edmonton Motorshow — a celebration of the swiftest and swankiest cars on the market. This show is going to be pretty epic, taking over the Edmonton Expo Centre for four days straight. But move over motor-heads, a special Ladies Night has been scheduled for Thursday night.

Do some good
What: Be a #YEG hero and make some friends in the process this weekend at the Edmonton Volunteer Fair. There will be entertainment, prizes, face painting, and even a superhero or two!

Laugh long
What: The Bonfire Festival is back at Rapid Fire Theatre and bringing with it long-form improv based on sitcom logic, dreamscapes, tarot cards, lounge singers and sci-fi. Tickets can be bought at the door, or you can get a $30 pass for the whole festival.
