Is Zayn Malik finally going solo? It seems so!
DJ Naughty Boy released gave an interview to U.K. paper The Sun (via Digital Spy) in which he revealed the One Direction singer has been making some music without his fellow Brit boy-banders.
“I can’t deny the fact that we have made music together,” Naughty Boy, real name Shahid Khan, said. “Zayn is going to feature on my next album.”
“We’re making music and having fun. This is just like a side gig and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it,” he added.

Naughty Boy says he thinks 1D fans will get a better taste for Malik’s vocal talents without Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne by his side.
“It’s a good time for Zayn to showcase what he can really do. I don’t think that is being fully exploited with the band because there are five people and it needs to be balanced out,” he dished.
Since breaking the news, Naughty Boy has been retweeting a lot of exciting One Direction fans while Malik has yet to tweet about or confirm the collaboration.
What do you think, 1D fans?!
