Happy Birthday, Amal Clooney!
The beautiful London barrister, who also happens to be married to George Clooney, is ringing in the big 3-7 today and while we presume there won’t be too much time to celebrate (considering she’s currently representing Armenia at the European Court of Human Rights), we’re hoping the brunette stunner was able to snag in some quality time with her handsome hubby.
36 was a big year for Mrs. Clooney, who not only tamed and wed the notorious Hollywood bachelor, but also became a fashionista in her own right as the world fell in love with the A-lister’s gorgeous wife (and that’s of course in addition to her career accomplishments, including her counsel of Mr. Mohamed Fahmy, a journalist currently imprisoned in Egypt)

The human-right’s lawyer was also named Barbara Walter‘s Most Fascinating Person of 2014 (Walter’s didn’t score an interview), and she stole the spotlight at the Golden Globes (white gloves, anyone?), her very first award show, where her husband was honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award.

“Amal is a human rights lawyer who worked on the Enron case, was an advisor to Kofi Annan regarding Syria, and was selected for a three-person UN commission investigating rules of war violations in the Gaza Strip. So tonight her husband is getting a lifetime achievement award,” the comedian duo quipped upon the opening of the Golden Globes.
