It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without #DanceWars!
As promised, Dancing With the Stars’ Derek Hough and Julianne Hough kicked off their annual challenge Thursday night. Joined by friends and family, the siblings—who wore festive turkey hats—performed a choreographed dance routine to Sheppard’s “Geronimo.” Derek posted the first video to his Instagram account and wrote, “#thanksgivingdancewars has begun!!! What really happens during family prayer.”
The second video, which Derek and Julianne both published, featured crazy camera work! “Welcome to the home of #thanksgivingdancewars #dancebattle. TURKEY MAN SAYS BRING IT!!!” the Houghs wrote.
Maria Menounos responded by performing Taylor Swift ‘s “Shake It Off” with her friends and family. “Here we go…@juleshough & @derekhough started while I was still cooking. but we are gonna crush everyone tonight!!” E!’s Untold host wrote on Instagram. “Here are a few of my song ideas if u wanna do ur own videos w/ur families: bang bang, anaconda. #thanksgivingdancewars @markballas where r u?”
Mark Ballas didn’t immediately respond…but the night is young!
