A St. Albert transit bus that went off the road and crashed through the fences of two homes earlier this week had no mechanical issues, RCMP said Thursday night.
RCMP say an inspection has found the bus was in good repair.
The investigation is still underway and the cause of the crash has yet to be determined. Weather and road conditions have been ruled out as factors in the incident.
The bus was travelling on Heritage Drive near Haviland Crescent around 6 p.m. Tuesday night when it went off the road.
It came to a stop against a deck after taking out two fences, a shed and a trampoline.
The driver of the bus was the only person on board at the time. He was released from hospital after being treated for minor injuries. No one else was hurt.
