Alberta RCMP are investigating a late night shooting in a north Red Deer neighbourhood where one or more people may have been injured.
Mounties, with the assistance of a canine team, responded to a report that shots had been fired in the Riverside Meadows neighbourhood on Thursday evening.
Initial reports indicated that at least one person may have been injured in the shooting, police said.
Investigators believe the altercation wasn’t a random incident.
Police said the suspects remain at large, but there isn’t a risk to the public.
An RCMP spokesperson was unavailable to provide any further details on the case.
