Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg to answer your questions next week

Facebook CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg will host a live, public question and answer session next week.

Zuckerberg announced the session today on his own Facebook page, of course. It will air on Facebook with its Live feature, which lets users run live video feeds on their pages, of anything from an exploding watermelon to a howling Chewbacca mask.

The media shy CEO rarely speaks publicly, so this is a chance for Facebook users to ask him questions directly.

Zuckerberg wrote that he often holds town hall question and answer sessions when he travels. He said he’s also done some at Facebook headquarters.

“Now with Live I can hear from more of our community at once and it’s a lot more interactive. We can cover all the big areas you’re interested in — connecting the world, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, live video, entrepreneurship, philanthropy and more,” he wrote.

Zuckerberg said the questions will be culled from comments on the post he made about the live Q&A. Users can vote on the questions they want Zuckerberg to answer by “liking” them.

The session will start at 11:30 a.m. PT on Tuesday, June 14.

Because the internet is often a strange place, the currently most-liked question for Zuckerberg is a meandering, unfocused statement by a person who seems to be pitching a product to Zuckerberg, nary a question mark in sight. It had well over 250 likes around 1 p.m. ET on Thursday, while the next most popular question had just 47.

So what would you ask the social media titan in what is surely to be a spontaneous, completely unstructured event on the massive social media platform? You can write your question in the comments section of his post here.
