A lengthy investigation into the Edmonton chapter of the Hells Angels has resulted in 10 arrests, the recovery of more than $1 million in stolen property, and the seizure of 21 firearms, say city police.

ALERT’s organized crime team in Edmonton found that members of the Hells Angels, support clubs, and associates were involved in stealing a variety of trailers and recreational vehicles, altering vehicle identification numbers, and reselling them.

More details will be provided at a news conference at 1 p.m. MT.

ALERT is responsible for tackling serious and organized crime. Members of Calgary Police Service, Edmonton Police Service, Lethbridge Police Service, Medicine Hat Police Service, and RCMP work in ALERT.
