Murder suspect in Edmonton shooting arrested
A man wanted on an Alberta-wide warrant for murder has been arrested in the shooting death of an Edmonton woman earlier this month.
Brian Joseph Boysis, 34, was taken into custody by RCMP on Monday at the Siksika First Nation.
Boysis faces several charges, including second-degree murder, attempted murder and aggravated assault in connection with the death of Sabrina Papin.
Papin, 27, died on May 3, 2016, after arriving at an Edmonton hospital with gunshot wounds.
A 31-year-old man was also shot in the incident, but was never identified by police. Investigators have also declined to say where the shooting happened.
Boysis is the second suspect named by investigators in the case.
Chad Neville Boysis, 29, was arrested on May 6 and charged with second-degree murder, attempted murder and aggravated assault.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on the case is asked to Edmonton police or Crime Stoppers.
