Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Discusses Quantum Computing, Schools Reporter in Widely Circulated Viral Video
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau quickly schooled a reporter in quantum computing, and video of the event quickly went viral on the Internet. Canadians from across the country expressed pride in their new prime minister, and the Internet has not stopped buzzing about all of the attributes that Trudeau brings. Many have commented on Trudeau’s good looks and how photogenic he is, and the attractive appearance of his wife, and these were even used as ammunition against him as he ran for the position of prime minister. During the election opponents said that Trudeau was just not ready for the powerful position, citing his youth and his good looks, but voters decided otherwise and elected him in large numbers.
When Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau answered a reporter and explained quantum computing the Internet went wild over the video, with Canadians expressing their pride in their leader. It all started when a reporter told Trudeau “Morning, sir, I was going to ask you to explain quantum computing”, but then the reporter also asked a question about Canada’s efforts to neutralize Islamic State militants currently occupying regions in Syria and Iraq. Trudeau quickly showed that he understood quantum computing, explaining how these systems do not conform to conventional physics and why they are more powerful than the mainstream computers widely used today. It quickly became clear that the reporter underestimated the Canadian prime minister’s knowledge and intelligence. Twitter user @smoakoverwatch commented “I was like YEAHH I voted for this guy.” @tonticologo stated “I wish there were more like him” on Twitter, and the comment “This is what teenagers call ‘getting owned,'” was tweeted by Anakana Schofield.
