Pharrell Williams & Cara Delevingne Reunite for Chanel Pre-Fall Campaign—See the Pics!

Chanel’s philosophy? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
After staring in Chanel’ short film Reincarnation last fall, Cara Delevingne and Pharrell Williams are teaming up with the iconic fashion house once more. Instead of dreamy Austrian ball gowns and bellhop attire, Delevingne and Williams are ditching their period-piece wear for modern Chanel duds in the label’s pre-fall campaign.
Clearly inspired by the Paris-Salzburg Métiers d’Art show, the Chanel garments on display have a distinct Vienna charm. Pharrell sports a series of urbane ensembles, from an emerald cardigan and coordinating lace-up boots set to a tailored wool blazer with jade trim.

With a stoic and decisive gaze, the Grammy-decorated singer looks fit to command the Chanel fashion legions. And after viewing the polished ad campaign, it’s even more of a no-brainer as to why the CFDA is bestowing the Fashion Icon Award upon the musician.
As for Delevingne—well, she’s her usual striking, furrowed-browed self. The 22-year-old Chanel darling—who walked in the Paris-Salzburg Métiers d’Art show last fall and stared in the campaign, amongst many over Coco-approved pursuits—returns styling cozy-couture autumn wear complete with boucle jackets, knee-high bowed Mary Janes and delicate sheer blouses. Simply, there’s a reason Karl Lagerfeld adores her—want proof? Just look at her!

Let’s not forget about little Hudson Kroenig, who stars as the third face in the ad campaign. The pint-sized model is no stranger to Chanel runways; he’s even walked alongside his pop, Brad Kroenig, back in 2011—awe! Clad in Lederhosen and pristine embellished jackets, we see exactly why he’s Chanel’s favorite mini model (and Lagerfeld’s godson).
While we may just be approaching summer, these Chanel ads already have us dreaming of fall—or at least a vacay to snowy Austrian Alps.
