Florida Man With I Have Drugs T-Shirt Faces Drug Possession Charges
A Florida man who was wearing an I Have Drugs t-shirt is now facing drug possession charges after police found out that he really DID have drugs. The actual slogan on the shirt read “Who needs drugs? No, seriously I have drugs,” Turns out that 50 year old John Balmer of Pasco County Florida was advertising his goods for sale. When sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene at the Hudson, Florida K-Mart and arrested Balmer they found that he was in possession of both marijuana and methamphetamine. The Pasco County Sherriffs Office found the situation so humorous that they posted a photo of Balmer in handcuffs wearing the shirt on their Facebook page for the world to chuckle over. Possibly Balmer was sampling his own wares so he did not see the irony in wearing the shirt while he carried drugs around on him.
Wearing an I Have Drugs t-shirt and facing drug possession charges is ironic, but John Balmer is just one of the many crazy and ironic cases that law enforcement see each day. This has not changed much through time, but what has changed is the ability of law enforcement to document these cases and show them to everyone on social media. Many police departments have websites that show recent arrests and mugshots, and some include some of the more humorous cases that they have handled as well. Have you ever seen someone wearing a t-shirt like the one that Balmer was wearing? What are some of the funniest shirt slogans you have come across?
